Title: Starting a new project
Post by: Electro on April 03, 2010, 09:15:59 pm
I've been reading a lot and lurking on people who have built MAME cabinets. I've been interested. The computer part (building it/setting it up) isn't hte problem. The problem  I am going to be having is with the wiring since I am not all that familiar. I have a Time Pilot cab that I am going to be using it was free. The monitor works great but I also have a 25 inch tv I can use as well. I have an older Pentium 4 PC and an old Dual Core PC sitting around. Just wondering where to start :X :(.....

Anyone have an helpful hints/recommendations let me know!

First of all, Welcome, you asked where to start, this site is the place, It's the greatest resource on earth, Don't sweat the wiring, it's quite simple, Do a search for any questions you have, I guarantee you will find more than enough answers.

Welcome and good luck, but be careful, this is more addicting than crack!

Welcome and good luck buddy! Its quite a journey. I've been building my first bartop off and on for about 9 months now. Hard with work, family, and life in general. Get ready to have the most fun and frustrating experience!
