Title: can someone explain what I'm doing wrong in future pinball?

I can always get the tables to load.. but never ever to play.  I have insert coin 1, 2, and 3 to 5, i have start game set to 1, I hafe left flipper set to A and right flipper to right shift.

But when I start the table nothing happens.  I press "5" over and over and "1" and nothing happens.  I can nudge it with the space bar, but other than that it never seems to work.  Anyone willing to help?

Try one of the following:

1. Click the left mouse button (makes fp active)

2. Alt-Tab

didn't work..

Should I be hearing sounds when I start the tables? I don't hear anything.. no music or sound effects

nudging the table and changing the points of views work .. not sure why I can't get the coin, start, and plunger to respond

What OS are you running?  If you are running Win 7 or Vista make sure that you run FP with Admin rights.

Ahh running with administrator rights did the trick.. :applaud:

I'm using windows 7.

Now to figure out Visual Pinball
