Title: Plexiglass Options

So was I just browsing over at Mamemarquees.com and noticed this on their control panel overlays-

Our Control Panel overlays are covered with Polycarbinate laminate (also used for bullet proof glass!) which offers a very tough, scratch resistant and textured surfaces. This will last a long time and take a lot of abuse. Don't settle for vinyl laminate!

I've never heard of this stuff before.  I already have a custom-cut plexi cover for my control panel (which I suspect is vinyl), but this sounds like an interesting option for future projects.

Has anyone here used this?  Is it difficult to cut/drill?

Nah, not at all. I bought an overlay from MMs, a sharp knife will cut out any holes easily. It can definitely take a beating too.
