I'll probably be parting out a game soon that has a very nice 29" VGA (possibly multisync) monitor. I live in WV, 25314.
Make offers.
Thanks,
Wade

I will get more pics with the test pattern and such. The monitor's picture is excellent, it looks absolutely awesome. Where was a deal like this when I paid $500 for my D9200 27"? This is perfect for a MAME cabinet.
I will find out if it is multisync in the next week or two.
Thanks,
Wade

A nice PC monitor at Wal-mart doesn't compare to a real arcade monitor!
Where are you exactly? I have some trips planned this summer, might be passing closer to your way.

Come on guys, people always seem to be looking for a large 4:3 CRTs and these are lovely.
They have a VGA port so you can plug your PC, 360, Dreamcast (via VGA box) etc straight in and hassle free :)
-
I have some cash soon, so you have my attention.
How much would it cost to ship to to Ohio?

I'd figure shipping would probably run about $150 or so.
Where are you in OH? I might be in OH in the nearish future.
Thanks,

Xenia Ohio, Nearest Metro Area would be Dayton.
I can go as far as Cincinnati however if it will save some cash! :burgerking:
How much did you want for the monitor? And also, am I crazy or did I hear someone say that it has a VGA hookup?
-
I'm in the other direction, southeast. I could come up 35 and meet you at Jackson or Chillicothe. I'd rather do that than ship it and risk damage. I'm asking $300 for it.
Yes, it has a VGA port as well as molex style connectors used in later Sega games. It is 31khz VGA which will limit your resolution to 640x480. However, most PC VGA cards will go that low without any problem. This makes for a really painless MAME setup. Or like Franco said, this opens up the option to connect to some other devices like Dreamcast, Xbox, etc.

I don't mind the 640x480, thats how I had my mame set up already. ;D
I can do the meeting up, thats fine. When will you be in this direction?

Is Michigan in your travels ?

I won't be in Michigan anytime soon.
This monitor is still available!

Any interest? I can ship this for about $100. Make an offer on the monitor!
Wade

Fedex might ship it for a bit less.

That's where the quote's from. :) This looks like it's sold anyway.
Thanks,

Arg dam I wish I was in the states, that is exactly what I need. Perfect for a 360 cab.

Is the monitor curved or flat? How much is shipping to CA 95687?

$112 to that zipcode. It is a flat style CRT tube... meaning it's flatter than an older style monitor, but not perfectly flat like an LCD. It still looks like a CRT but it doesn't have much bulge to it, and the tube itself is pretty rectangular.

Wade, I want to congratulate you on being so on top of getting info. You always reply back to people so quickly, with good information!

Thanks. Not sure if we have dealt before but I appreciate the comments. :)
Attaching some pics to show the relative curve/flatness of the tube.
