Looks very nice...there can't be too many games you can't play with a panel like that.

I need sunglasses for that control panel overlay...

The camera flash does light it up a bit -- now, if only it was UV reactive.

Dang how big is that control panel? And dont the bottom spinners/buttons get in the way?
-
The panel, itself is sloped so the buttons inline with the spinner are never touched. Plus there is enough spacing for an entire palm. The spinners aren't in the way because the button layout is meant for your hand to rest at about a 30 degree angle.

Which rotaries are you using? I have the Happ mechanical ones, but I like the Ikari handles on those. Where did you pick those up at?
-
They are NOS SNK LS-30's, which are the exact ones used in Heavy Barrel and Ikari Warriors. My last panel had a set of Happ Optical Rotaries but I had to practically cut a hole through the bottom of my panel so that they would fit, height-wise. These are short and work great. You just have to route deeply into your panel to mount them so that the joystick is high enough above the panel to move. I got the set off of E-bay after lurking for months for them.
They are connected using a GP-Wiz40 Max with rotary support. I tried a U-HID but had problems with a single switch rotating the wrong way. I also tried a Ultimarc Rotary interface but it would skip pulses if turned too fast. The GP-Wiz works flawlessly.

Nice panel! Too bad for P4 though.
