They're probably as good as it gets.
-
It seems fairly accurate to me. There's a thread on the dragonslair forums where some guy listed all the actual dimensions. I'll see if I can find it when I get a chance.
-
I used them and they were decent. I would have never tried without them. The only problem I had was the middle was wider than the bezel so if u get the bezel or CP first base your width off that and u will be fine.

This thread has info on some of the more vague measurements.

The answer you seek depends on what you want to use the plans for. If you want to built spot-on accurate repros, then they aren't that accurate. If you want to build cabinets that most people couldn't tell weren't original, then they are as javeryh says -- probably accurate enough.
The widebody plans have been reported as wrong with speculation being that they are just the standard with 4 inches of extra width. I can't seem to find reference to the thread in question, but I do recall the OP being rather ticked as he had already built the cab and none of the parts he had ordered fit (so I would definitely follow sk8er's advice above).

thanks for the replies.... I have redrawn them in autocad and dimensions and any that didn't add up it was pretty easy to correct.
Ill bear in mind the sizing for when I redrawn the widebody. Ive noticed the vs nintendo (also puch-out and other nintendo) seem to be slightly slimmer and taller.. Does anyone know where I can get these plans or someone who has one that might be willing to help?
-
Could you possibly upload your autocad file?
-
yeah once I have had it cut out on a cnc router and know the measurements are correct, I will make the autocad drawing available.
Can anybody help with the VS Cabinet??
-
I used the jakobud plans for my dynamo showcase build and I did find a few inconsistencies but I was making changes myself to suit my own needs anyways because I had to take into consideration being able to move it down and up my basement stairs. They are fairly accurate otherwise or will give you a good starting point so just make sure before you cut you check all the measurements first.

Hi Nintendoid, Did you ever have any success with the PC10 dimensions? I want to start on a Punch-out!! Cabinet, but can't find any empty cabs in my area to work with, so I need to make a go at it from scratch. Would be awesome if you could share a CAD file.
Thanks!

looking for Nintendo Mario bros widebody measurements.
thank you

Hi
If Mario Bros is the same cab as Donkey Kong, take a look at my topic "Donkey Kong plans".

f Mario Bros is the same cab as Donkey Kong, take a look at my topic "Donkey Kong plans".
It's not - the Mario Bros. cabinet is a Nintendo widebody cab. There are some significant differences.
-
I see... :-\
Only the width ?
Sorry, i don't know.

This is a good indicator of the differences:

On Jakobud plans the only différence is the width.
I think he used the same side as Donkey Kong but it's wrong.

And how do we know those are even real?
