I saw metallica playing for the first time in my life! This was a sold out concert so I was lucky i got tickets! My neck is in great pain, as I headbanged the entire Metallica setlist. The setlist was as follows:
# That Was Just Your Life
# The End Of The Line
# For Whom The Bell Tolls
# Fuel
# Fade To Black
# Broken, Beat And Scarred
# Cyanide
# Sad But True
# Welcome Home (Sanitarium)
# Creeping Death
# One P
# Master Of Puppets
# Blackened
# Nothing Else Matters
# Enter Sandman
# Encore:
# Die, Die My Darling (Misfits cover)
# Motorbreath
# Seek & Destroy
More pics to come!

Good. They seemed to re-attach themselves to the core audience. No songs are from Re-load(of ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---) and only one song (fuel) is from Load. The rest are from their earlier work. Many Metallica fan will disagree with me, but I still say Black is not their sell-out record.

I saw them on this tour back in 2008 Dec 2 here in Vancouver, BC...was a fantastic concert...next up Iron Maiden with Dream Theater on June 24th :)

I'll politely disagree. ;)
I saw them in Oct 2009 and thought it was the best concert I had been to in years. People can say what they want about their albums, but they put more energy into their concerts than anybody I've ever seen. Considering their age, that's damn impressive. :o

That is so damn right! They really put a lot of energy to the concerts.

Hahaha you listen to La Mega? Yeah they're still broadcasting but they are more focused on hip hop and Dance music than anything else.

Dude Plaza Aquatica was shut down like 8 or 9 years ago. :( It stinks cause I really loved that place. There were some cool water slides there lol I remember that during one of my visits to Plaza Aquatica, I hurt one of my toes so my aunt took me to one of those medical offices nearby and an old lady sprayed my toe with some cold thing I screamed like crazy hahahaha.

Lol . . . well . . . you're on an arcade message board, which automatically makes most likely at least late 30's, but more likely 40's. Plus you know a ton about things like electricity and sciency stuff . . . kinda like someone who has been a professional tradesperson for a long time. And I seem to remember that you keep old computers around and you do things like making complex batch files, which means that you probably used DOS as your primary operating system once upon a time. And old people always keep computers forever. :)
And, of course, it's a message board, so you just have whatever picture pops into your head of someone. But no . . . we're pretty much the same age. I'll turn 32 a month or so after you 31.

$5? :laugh2:
Next time you're at the airport, take some photos of all the Donkey Kong machines everywhere. It was unreal the last time I was there.
When was that? I went there last year and didn't saw anything. What part of the airport were the machines?

Yeah, I can't be bothered to go to Dallas again for a concert for a while. The last time I made the drive was to see Tool in July of '09 and I'm still tired from it (and I wasn't even the driver!).
I hate driving very far. That's about 3 1/2 hours and the drive there is fine, but the drive back sucks.

That makes sense Ginsu.
I'm near Philadelphia, lucky enough to be within about 40 minutes of the major and minor venues (Wachovia center, Susquehanna Center, Tower Theatre, Electric Factory, Trocadero, TLA, etc.). But, so many bands started playing Atlantic City. I can't be bothered to drive that far for a concert, unless I'm staying over. I've done that once (or twice?). But it's just not worth it.
I'm actually regretting last night a bit. Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedy's) was playing at the Troc, but I didn't get down there. Been real run down all week... :( I would have loved to see him do Holiday In Cambodia and California Uber Alles. With age though, come better decisions. I guess.
EDIT: I did the overnight concert thing in AC twice. Once for Queensryche. Another time for Cinderella/Ratt/Quiet Riot. Both times were more for 'hanging with the boys' than for the shows themselves.

Terminal that hopped from Puerto Rico to St. Thomas. There was a NEOGEO or Donkey Kong machine roughly every 100 yards.
Man, you're making me homesick. :P
So you lived here in Puerto Rico? That's cool. The terminal that hopped to Chicago didn't have any machines :'( :'( :'(.
