Title: WG 25K7193- red drive problem?
Post by: pedroiathedestroia on March 12, 2010, 08:39:22 pm
I have an egg venture game with a WG 25K7193 monitor in it.  There is no red on the monitor. The red drive knob is disconnected at one of the solder points.  Is this what is causing the problem? Thanks for the help.

Scrap the machine, send me the game pcb.    ;D
(j/k)

If the drive pot is physically broken loose, then yes, fix that first.
Look over the entire neckboard for bad solder joints too while you're there.

I was wondering if that red drive not being attached can cause the red to not show up, or is it just part of the problem?  I will most likely not be keeping that egg venture board in the game if I can get the monitor working correctly..
