Hi just went through all the trouble of compiling 136u3 w/ hi score date
Is it really worth upgrading?
From reading the update files, it seems that naomi games are still unplayable.. so I dunno
-
Dunno I'm still at .84....
Does it play the classics any better?
-
i gave up trying to keep up with every release. it wasnt worth it to me unless a game I want was fixed.
-
I use .84 and .127, depending on which computer I'm using. I'm happy with them.
-
cool, yeah i will probably update when marvel vs capcom 2 and naomi are working
I'm happy right now
-
I'm on 129...im in no hurry
-
can 129 play cps3?
-
yeah - I have .119 and CPS3 works fine.
-
I normally use WolfMAME 106 (since that's what TG requires), but I have various versions to play some games that have been added, or to watch INP's from MARP.
-
Still on 102 and for what I play, I have no need to upgrade ;D:cheers:

+1
I'm still at .119. It works with the games that I like including SFIII series and Killer Instinct. Anything else I like (like Blitz and Gauntlet Legends) I play on my Dreamcast emulator.
The main reason I refuse to switch is because (at least for me) it was a pain in the <smurf> to hack my mame.exe to skip the game info screens at the beginning. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Thanks for the heads up - I've got it now. 2X bonus somewhere out there this weekend...

Partial thread hijack on upgrading-:)
I see a couple people listing the same versions as the one that they use. Are there any certain releases that are kind of standard ones (like .84 favored over .82 or .86) due to major updates or improvements ?
