I have looked and looked, searched and searched and I need some help on the front end I need. Here is my set up:
Windows xp
Cocktail cabinet
Running only vertical games (vertical monitor)
Looking for a front end that's:
Has quick load times (simple is good)
Can search for games by game name (like mamewah can spell names)
Can use ROM Lister to make game lists
Sounds simple, I though MaLa would work, but it will not search by game name?
Any and all suggestions would be great!

most FE can do vertical I promise, but not tested all Fe's about searching.
My own MultiFE can all do that, including the searching. It might take some time to build it, but should load pretty fast after you have filtered it (MultiFE can do some sort of ROMLister do as well). Not tested howover the games show correctly in vertical, but it should do that!
Howver you can tell Loadman about the searching issue, which I guess he can fix it, so post a thread about it in the Mala forum.

Just a thought: On a vertical cocktail, the number of playable games (ie, with screen flipping) is going to be about 120-140 or so, depending on how many clones you want and how many buttons you have. Searching really isn't necessary at that point, since most FEs let you jump through letters in your list by pressing left/right, you can get anywhere in the list pretty darn quick.
You have the same setup as I do. I use Mala.
That said, I have yet to build a list for only 1 player games (non cocktail/screen flipping), which is probably a couple hundred or more since I have 3 buttons on my machine. Searching might be useful then.
