Title: Help with ELO 1545
Post by: Stub on March 06, 2010, 08:15:18 pm
I am building  Mountain (c) Juke, and I was test fitting my ELO 1545 touchscreen when it went out on me. I no longer even get "No video signal" messages on screen. I have tinkered with it all day and I think I'm foobared.

There is little or no troubleshooting information on the web on the ELO touch, nor can I find that model sold anywhere any more. ( I bought mine a couple of years ago planning to do a juke with it )

Can anyone point me to a resource that can help troubleshoot, or somewhere to purchase a replacement?

Dumb question.  You didn't accidentally hit any of the buttons on the side, did you?

They are unmarked, I assume one is a power switch. I pressed all of them 30 or 40 times trying to power it up. I also checked functionality of each button from the other end of the cable with a continuity tester, and I believe all are functioning correctly.

I wish I could find some technical hardware documentation.
