Here's the deal. The mother of my kids sometimes get a hair up her rear end and sometimes calls me non stop for various reasons. These call come at any hour of the day, and are usually multiple times in a row. For example, one day i had left my cell phone in my car and she called me 30 times back to back just so i can take her my car so she can buy herself medicine. The other day i was out with my gf and she called me 12 times back to back to ask if she could use my car the next day to take the kids to the mountains. Here is my question though is there a law on how many times a person can call you before you can throw a herassment charge?

How about you ask a cop?
QFT & I think I know why you left her.

A couple years back when we had a different number we were getting a couple calls a day from some foreign people. If I had to guess I would say middle eastern... They would ask for somebody, we would respond that they had the wrong number, they would not understand, we would respond louder. After weeks of this I called the cops who said there was nothing that they could do. I called the phone company and they asked me if I wanted to change my number.
Point of the story I guess is not to expect much from the cops or the phone company. YMMV

Google Voice would probably do the trick. You should probably tell her to knock it off cos it's obnoxious, but I guess you already did that, so just get Google Voice and filter her phone number. Make sure when you sign up that you get the full-version (requires you to get a new number) and not the one where you associate it directly with your current cellphone number. The latter option is a gimped version of Google Voice and you miss out on many of the best features. You can set up a filter to send her straight to voicemail without ringing your phone, though your other calls will come through. You can even listen to the message while she's leaving it and pick up halfway through just like on a traditional answering machine. And since it's probably obnoxious to even hear her voice you'll be happy to know that after she leaves a voicemail Google will transcribe it and send it to you in a text-message so you can read it. ;D

She only calls you that much because you let her.
You know what to do, make it to where she doesnt want to even talk to you.
My $0.02

i get what your saying, but i have kids with her so i do still have to communicate with her. A few days ago she told my kids some bullshat and told them that im very mean to her, and that my girlfriend is a bad person and they should stay away from her.

I obviously know very little about your relationship, so take this with a grain of salt. But it seems to me that you are pretty generous with her, at least when it comes to loaning her your car. That sort of thing can be used as a bargaining chip to encourage better behavior. The next time she calls and asks to borrow your car, maybe you should say, "You know what? No. I don't appreciate you telling my kids that I am mean to their mom and that my girlfriend is a bad person. You want favors from me, act like a decent human being."
Perhaps you're reluctant to do that because depriving her of your car would, for example, deprive your kids of a trip to the mountains. And yeah, that sucks. But maybe watching their mom walk all over their dad is worse for them than missing a day at the mountains.
pinballwizard might be pushing it a bit too far, but it sounds like there may be some truth to that, "because you let her," business.
