Title: Which Monitor now?

So HAPP screwed me a bit on my first monitor choice, which would have been a High Res MakVision.

What do you fellas recommend for me?

What I would like:

At least 1024 x 768 mostly for newer games like SF IV and such.
I have an Ultimate Arcade II so the dimensions are (w)27" x (h)25"
My video card has HDMI ports so an HDTV is not out of the question.
I have around $650 to spend.

Please gimme some ideas, any help would be appreciated
