I just received this arcade monitor from Happ.
http://www.happcontrols.com/monitors/49271700.htm (http://www.happcontrols.com/monitors/49271700.htm)
It's hooked up to a windows xp based PC with a Nvidia GT240.
I am unable to get it to display in 1024 x 768. Keep getting over specification.
I have looked all over for some type of information about this monitor but have come up empty handed.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Make sure you're attempting to use 60Hz. The monitor can do higher refresh rates, but not at 1024x768. It can only do 1024x768 at 60Hz. Windows doesn't always make the refresh rate obvious. You will need to go to "Advanced->Monitor" to pick refresh rate.

Ive double checked the 60hz and still get nothing. I did notice in the manual that there are 2 model M2929Ds. the M2929D-72 and M2929D-62
the 72 has a resolution of 800x600 while the 62 is the 1024x768. Could I have the wrong one?

you should have a model number on the chassis board somewhere,do you have an on screen display?
-
I do have an OSD but it says nothing about model information. Lemme check the chassis
-
So the back list the model number as the M2929D-72 which is the 800x600 version.
Did I get Gyped?

Here is a copy of the manual and chassis sticker.

quite possibly... i would check your order and waybill and see if the 72 or 62 suffix is present
edit: fixed quote

Yup, looks like you got the wrong version all right. Check your order and give Happ a call.

Yep, HAPP says they no longer carry the models capable of 1024 x 768. They only carry the med res version. I'm going to make sure they give me a full refund shipping and all.
