Title: Joystick mounting on Mameroom Ultimate Arcade II Bartop
Post by: Vitamin on February 22, 2010, 07:46:24 pm
Hey guys, I've been lurking around here for awhile and have a quick question.

First let me say that my experience with Mameroom has been nothing but positive. Scott and the Mameroom guys were able to tailor a layout to my exact specifications and they delivered with a very high quality product. It's worth every penny.

I'm setting it up right now, and around the joystick hole, there are 4 small indentations on the underside that line up with the mounting holes in the Happ Competition joysticks I'm using. To mount the joysticks, do I simply put screws in those holes and go, or is it a more complicated process?

PS - If there's anyone in the Boston area who knows how to mount joysticks properly I will pay you to mount them - this is the last issue I'm having and it's pretty frustrating, but I don't want to mess up or crack the wood if power tools are really required, and I know I would.

Thanks for helping out a newbie guys. :)

Most IL / Happ joysticks are mounted with carriage bolts.

How thick is the control panel ?
