I have 1 Trackball and 2 SpinTrak (plus a number of other buttons) that I'm trying to connect to a U-HID.
The Trackball will be connected to the Mouse X-Y Quadrature, but I'm wondering how to best connect the 2 SpinTrak spinners.
Originally, I was hoping to connect one spinner to the Mouse2 X and the other to Mouse 2 Y, but I'm realizing this isn't possible.
Will I need to connect the SpinTraks as Quadrature Button Inputs? Is this optimal or am I better off getting another encoder to input it as a mouse?

I just thought of another option...
I could use the Mouse X&Y for the trackball,
and then use Mouse X (again) for one spinner, and then Mouse Y for the other spinner.
The spinners would also move the mouse, but would be on different quadrature configured input pins compared with the trackball.
Would that work better?
(Would that even work?)

The above config is the way to do it and would work fine since there is no need for the spinners to appear as different discrete devices as the trackball.

Thanks Andy,
I assume other folks have done it this way. I will try this and let you know how it turns out.
It would be nice if the UHID could support 4 spinners (eg. Warlords)
and thus two Trackballs (Atari football).
The nice thing is that this could one day be doable through firmware upgrade, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.
