Hi,
I've got a desktop computer inside an old arcade cabinet and have Mala setup with Mame and a bunch of other emulators for console gaming. I've slowly been buying some USB adapters and the original old controllers for super nintendo, nintendo 64, intellivision, etc.
I'm running Mala and Mame on the arcade cabinet and have a X-arcade tankstick on order but I also have a dual monitor setup with my ATI video card with a DVI cable to my HDTV for running the emulator console games with Mala.
This works and looks really good on the HDTV, and I can lounge on the couch and the lazy-boy chairs, except that I have to go into the ATI catalyst control panel and swap the displays. I know how to do it but my wife and nephew won't be able to do this easily and I would like them to be able to play the consoles anytime they want if I'm not there.
I need some kind of macro or script that I can assign to a key on my Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 1000 to swap the displays back and forth. I'm running Windows XP Pro and the video card is an ATI Radeon X1550 AGP.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? :)
Thanks,
Scott

I found a program called Display Fusion and it works for some of the emulators but most launch into the 2nd monitor.
http://www.binaryfortress.com/displayfusion/ (http://www.binaryfortress.com/displayfusion/)
I can get Mala over to my 2nd monitor no problem with a hotkey and manuever in it but most emulators when I launch them go back to the 1st monitor.
The only emulators that go to the 2nd monitor are: Mame, Mess, and Visualboyadvance although Mame and Mess are a little cut off which maybe I can tweak some more on that with resolutions.
The emulators that don't launch on the 2nd monitor are Atari800Win, Daphne, epsxe, fceultra, freedo, Fusion, handy, magic engine, project64, nebula, neo pop, nostalgia, stella, yabause, and zsnes.
Any ideas? ??? I see there is some kind of hotkey function in ATI control center so I'll check that out next.
Thanks,
Scott

I got it working perfectly even with the 2 different monitor resolutions. 8)
I used the ATI Catalyst software and set up 2 profiles. One profile has the Arcade Mame setup for using the arcade cabinet and the other profile is for my TV setup.
I should have looked at the ATI software first. Oh well - I learned some more stuff.
