Great, after no joy with v4.0, I can now get this to work (with ZiNc at least)!

Can I suggest just altering the 'Short' option to '0' for the preconfigured ZiNc lconfig.ini?  Unless I am doing something wrong, with 'Short=1' I just can't get it to launch - even with sending the rom path + extension.

Nice work, I'll give the 'emusaver' part a go next... :)

Howard, you're my hero.  Thanks for all you do for the emulation community.

I can honestly say my cabinets is 1000% better due to your contributions.

thanks guys.....

yeah the short being turned on is a typo... i'll update that when i think of it

short won't work when you don't send a path, because the "get short filename" api needs a full path to work.  Thus if you turn it on at the wrong time the wrapper crashes.

**edit**

the emusaver feature is still slightly flawed, so consider that function beta at this time.  :)

Yeah, I use the same API ;)

OK, emusaver seemed to work fine, but I only did pretty quick testing.

Thanks :)
