I ordered my 4-way joystick and it came in today. How in the heck can I take this ball top off to put this on my panel. I'm dying to see it and I can't unscrew this sucker. I'm sure this is something simple I'm overlooking...but I can't figure it out! :lol

the shaft spins too if you find something to hold the shaft but not something that is gonna scratch it it should come off
where was it ordered from incase the above is not the case

What joystick model are you talking about? Any pictures?

Not all ball tops come off ... what kind of stick is it ?
-
Thanks for the responses! :)
A link to the stick is below, I ended up taking the clip out of the bottom and pulling the entire stick out. At first I didn't want to do that because I have done that in the past and broke the metal clip, but this time it slid right off. I got it on the CP and it's looking great! Thanks again!
*edit* Good call, I still have it copied! :lol

You forgot the link. :lol

I guess, there is a retainer at the bottom of the shaft which must be removed.

Check for a snap ring at the bottom of the stick.

Apparently whoever had my cab before I got it (a Robotron cab that had been converted several times) didn't know you could pull the stick out if you take the clip off the bottom...they drilled the holes big enough so the ball would fit thru from the bottom! Of course, this made the hole so big that the dust washer jams up in it :banghead: I just ended up removing the dust washers since it was always getting caught and pinching my fingers.
