Title: Question about X-Arcade joysticks
Post by: AlanS17 on July 25, 2003, 06:09:52 pm
Most of the complaints I've heard from X-Arcade are form pushbuttons. I haven't heard so much bad stuff about their joysticks. Above that, I've heard mostly problems about the cheap switches. My question is this:

If I replace the cheap switches, would X-Arcade joysticks be comparable to Happs?

I heard the same yeah. I was gonna buy one for my cab, but i decided i would be better off making one.

The joysticks apparently are average, but the problem is P1 and P2 are so close together..

I'd imagine so... they'd be near identical to happ supers... but at that point, why not just buy happ supers from bob roberts and save the hassle.  (you'd probably like competitions better anyways)

*shrug* the stuff isn't terrible, just a nick/hair less quality than most happs stuff.  If you're broke they aren't bad... I still have mine in my panel... I never play Mr. Do and go damn.. these buttons don't click like happs with cherry switches wood (but if I die, I do blame it on not having my dedciated 4 way installed yet =P)

*Shrug*

I'm not refering to the whole unit - just the joysticks. I've already built my control panel. Just need to populate it and was looking for a cheap way.
