Namely a ET1545L-8SWC-1-IBM2 ....
These seem to be popular touchscreens amongst the forum here for touch jukes, game/jukes, etc.
Has anyone bought or built the remote to access the OSD menu ?
I'm in the process of making one and wanted to know if anyone else wanted the pinout and and pictures and such?
It's a simple PS2 cord with four buttons. I'm having to tear apart a mouse cord as one required pin on the PS2 end was not physically wired, but otherwise it would have been really easy.
Other models may use the same remote as well, I just listed that one 15" as it's common here like the ones being bought off ebay.

This is a factory version of the remote in case anyone was curious.

Just finished my crude version from scrap parts and such, I may or may not incase it and pretty it up.
Got done with it and found out the OSD doesn't even have vertical or horizontal sizing options which is what I personally needed for my particular project. :P
But the rest of the options are pretty typical.
If anyone wants any of this info I'll still write it up .......

Nice. Just checked the one I have and it's got what looks like an audio jack but no PS2 jack. There's a small board with 4 buttons on the side though. Maybe this model has the OSD buttons attached?
Anyway, cool hack none the less.

Yeah, sounds like yours has the button panel built in.
I'm not sure what all models only have the "remote" port option.
I was kinda surprised this was the only option to get into the OSD, maybe it's just that these were designed for industrial/commercial applications not average home use, etc.
I'll do a quicky write-up after I get my pictures doctored up.
Keep in mind mine was a quick crude version, I'm only posting for technical pinout information, make yours as pretty as you want.

I had a request for this information, so figured I'd just come back here and post it.
Pic 1 - First off, the factory remote is nothing more than a simple four button panel with a PS2 type connector at the end. Buttons+wire+PS2 connector.... that is it.
So in order to make your own ......... just grab ya four micro buttons (I robbed mine from an old VCR button panel), a five wire bit of cable, and a male PS2 connector.
Pic 2 - The color coding I'll mention is the colors of the corresponding wires INSIDE the monitor itself.
Pic 3 - The color coded pinout of the PS2 port on the monitor.
"Shield" is the metal surrounding the pins. (can call it ground or common if you prefer)
Pic 4 - My craptacular example that I never felt the need to finish and make pretty.
Pic 5 - The PS2 end of my example. Part 1
Pic 6 - The PS2 end of my example complete. (with shield in place and soldered)
The button combination's are as follows.....
Shield + Yellow = Brings up OSD
Shield + Blue = Menu Navigate Clockwise
Shield + Green = Menu Navigate Counter Clockwise
Shield + Orange = Select / De-Select
Once a selection is made
Shield + Blue = Value UP
Shield + Green = Value DOWN
So as basic as button wiring goes.... there are four buttons total.....Shield is common to all buttons (common ground)...... and each of the four pins will be a function.
If there's any questions or further detail needed..... just let me know.
