Title: Ultimarc U-HID won't be seen as mouse by PC
Post by: AE35 on February 12, 2010, 09:52:29 am
Hey all!

This is driving me nuts ;D

I have a U-HID that I need to use as a mouse on the PC(optical wheel, x-axis).

I've set 4 U-HID pins to do this, with two being quadrature, one being +5V and one being gnd.

But it doesn't work. If I instead connect my Ultimarc optipac next to it, the wheel works right away!
I wuld hate having two interfaces in the cabinet when I should only need the U-HID

Any advice?

Thanks!

Nicholas

If the wheel you are using is active low, it will not work with the uhid. I have a few from a Badlands machine that fall into this category. I was hoping to use one encoder in my cab as well, but unless I replace the optic boards in my steering wheels, it won't happen with the uhid.
