Title: how to setup scanlines on mala and another question
Post by: Charlie97L on February 07, 2010, 10:27:39 am: ok, i have mala running well, but i'm looking to get scanlines enabled on mala, as the cab i'm building is using an LCD.

also, is there a way to have artwork borders on vertical games while the game is being played, to cover up the black bars? if so, where do i grab those?

i believe the one you want is the mame extra's core but not sure
the description of the core is

but as you can see from my pic below u still get black bars along the side and your paying area seems to decrease

uses a very low res though

ATI Catalyst Control Center should allow you to add scanlines to a monitor... Assuming you have an ATI video card, of course. ::)

yes there is in most emulators mame has them i know the atari ones do

seems to be the lowest it can go is 800x600 though.
