SO I picked up a x-arcade stick 2 player for 100 bucks off craigs and I was going to find a empty vertical cab and mame it..And mind you im not good with soldeirng etc hence the x-arcade..WELL I came across this http://sacramento.craigslist.org/vgm/1584431410.html (http://sacramento.craigslist.org/vgm/1584431410.html) im not sure if hes gonna give me the game board but now im thinking of selling the stick and getting a ipac and arcade vga card and using this cabinet..Problem is I have never tryed those things before and I kinda want a vertical cabinet so should I turn the monitor? What do u guys think? Heres my other horizontal cabinet..

Couldn't tell you whether or not you can tate the monitor in that cab but the ipac-ing and arcade vga would be easy as pie to do - no technical skills. If anything you'd want a j-pac not an i-pac though!

damn it..I spent the 100 bucks on that damn stick and now the guy said he would have sold me this cab for 150 bucks and im really strapped for cash..ERRR

It's easy to rotate the monitor in that cab.
The only advice that I would give -- slow down a bit. I know that it is exciting, but there are lots of deals out there.

Not to many around here with everything included..Thinking of getting a tv and the stick mounted right again seems 2 annoying and this seems pretty much complete for me..Plus everyone hates x-arcade sticks lol..I was get a overlay for my tank stick and different sticks and buttons..

I thought I'd gotten a decent deal but now I'm wondering if I was too impulsive and should have waited for a better deal (either cheaper or a better cab for the same price.)

Hell my cab in my picture was a mortal kombat 3 cab and I only paid 30 bucks..It was mostly gutted so I threw a tv in there and used the x-aracde and I think it came out fine..But if I can get a all in one this time around I would be set..And ya patience is tough and I have seen cabs double the size of yours for less but hey thats life and as long as u like,, its cool

If there is one thing I've learnt, it is not to rush into things... if you wait long enough, something will come along. My arcade collection has got to be worth a fair amount but other than just one specialist, Japanese cab, I've never spent very much on what I've picked up - even the expensive one was cheap for what it was!
The cabinet seems okay but it's not the most attractive (the bezel looks odd as does the control panel)... I guess you could smarten it up easily but I do have a feeling something better will come along... but it is upto you... it doesn't seem like a bad buy and if you like it, go for it... for the money I'm sure you could make something nice out of it... just don't rush it... check it thoroughly... if it's not as good as you hoped, be patient! ;)

It is a reasonable price for a working game in that cab, but it isn't a stellar deal.
I wouldn't advise against buying it, but you have already said that you are out of cash, so don't sweat it -- there will be another deal.
EVERYBODY says that there aren't any cabs available near them at first. Frizz used to moan and ---smurfette--- about how there were no cabs in BumbleFark IDAHO ... and now he has to turn them away.
Having said all of that, a cab is worth what someone will pay for it and if you buy something and are happy with the purchase, then be happy with the purchase and don't worry if you could have gotten something for cheaper.

Ya i guess you guys are right..I mean mabey ill get a nice vertical cab which is what im doing this second project for..That guy also has a nice ass jap cab but he wants 400 bucks..

What's the Jap cab? Depending on what it is, that could be a great buy - ideal for tating as well!
