Title: Pole Position button dilemma

I'm in the process of restoring a Pole Position cabinet as close to stock (externally) as possible.  The problem is that I would like to have it as a MAME multi-driver cabinet, and to do this, I would need to add a few buttons (Spy Hunter, I'm looking at you!).  I really don't want to drill into the control panel or plastic shroud that sits above this, so I've been thinking about some kind of small box I could attach to the shroud that could house extra buttons.  Anyone have any good ideas as to what to use, or should I just break down and drill?
