Hello, sorry for my bad English ...
From what I see I've tried many frontends and MaLa is the best ...
Supports hibernation, loads quickly, highly customizable, easy to set, free, the best themes, but it's getting old, no longer works well list generation, being only change one variable, the configuration part of mame no longer works and would be nice I had a screensaver based on games.
Loadman, you've raised to release the source code? I am not a programmer, but could venture to fix the issue of the generation of lists, is just changing game by machine. Could also remove the code concerning mame settings, it is easier to edit the mame.ini.
It's a shame to let die the best frontend that has existed.

He doesn't have the rights to release the source. Apparently there are some proprietary bits within the code that make it not possible.

Search the mala subforum. This has been discussed in the past. All the explanations are there.
I wish someone would make a knockoff that does everything the same way though.

And loadman or someone could not fix the issue of XML? It is only by changing game variable to machine.
