Post by: ZoOl007 on September 17, 2017, 04:30:42 am
As it is always quiet in the linux subsection...

why not post a message?  :P
I just released 0.4.0.4 beta1 for all your linux rgb arcade needs (that's a bold statement  ::))
It'll be the last version in the 0.4 series.

Nice work!  I might have to buy some RGB pushbuttons now.

Do you accept code contributions?  I was unable to find a repo.

No, it is closed source. If 0.5 ever sees the light of day I might open source it. I just haven't made up my mind. I'm kind of a perfectionist (very tiresome - I can assure you ) and I'm never pleased with how the source looks.
I've never open sourced anything either so it is a bit daunting I guess... :dunno

I know what you mean.  I have a few pet projects that I'm only able to use because I know every nut and bolt.  Making them public would be a waste of time.  (I do contribute to others' public projects, though.)

If people are already using RGB Commander, its utility has been proven.  Katie Snow (https://github.com/katie-snow/Ultimarc-linux) has done a good job with the Ultimarc-linux repo.  You'd be in good company.
