Ok, I have MAME32 and a bunch of ROMs and things run OK. But the interface sucks.
So I plop down some money for Maximus Arcade, and things don't work at all.
I'm running Windows 7.
MAME32 v0.99
Maximus Arcade (MAX 2.10)
Maximus came all configured for my X-Arcade, apparently, which I thought was nice.
Maximus starts up, and I get a long list of games (corresponding to my games). I select a game, and all I get is a black screen.
The same games that will work if I launch them through MAME32 directly don't work when launched via Maximus Arcade.
As far as I can tell I've got it configured correctly (but perhaps not?!?).
Ideas? Please?

If its been "pre configured" i would say its not configured right.
Check all the directories for mame, roms etc

What I meant by "pre-configured" is that it seems to be already set up for my X-Arcade Tankstick.
The path to the executable is correct. The path to the roms is correct (and it correctly finds the ROMs). But like I said, when I select a game, it briefly says "Please Wait" and then the screen goes black and stays black. :(
I can't for the life of me figure out what might be wrong. Is there a log file I can look at? What's a good way to troubleshoot this?

Possibly resolution settings?
Check that the resolutions on your PC, Maximus etc all correlate.
Other than that I cant think of anything ATM.
To early in the morning :p
