Title: Apache Controls Spinner
Post by: Animeka on July 15, 2006, 12:05:07 am
Well, I received my spinner today.

Came in very well packaged, with some instruction sheets (same ones you can print off the website).

Initial impressions: Very well built spinner. Sturdy, well designed. Package contains everything to install it, screws and locking nuts.

I played Tempest (great), arkanoid (need to tweak it a bit for sensitivity), Disc of Tron (of course) worked great as well. My control panel isnt finished yet, so I can't really get into a deep review right now but as soon as I'm finished, I'll update this post with further comments.

David from Apache Controls answered all my questions (lots of them) before I placed the order, and shipped the day following my order.

So... Great product, great service. Good value to me!

I recently got an Apache Blackhawk too, and it is a great spinner. My old spinner is an Oscar V2 with a push kit and I like this one much better. For one thing, I can FINALLY play DOT! The Apache is a great unit. I will post a more in-depth review soon.

Eric.
