Half price dust washers are [here (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=92008.msg1017037#msg1017037)].
I'm now offering coloured/tinted/mirrored button bezels, dustwashers and also drilling guides.
I can make the bezels and washers out of any of the following colours:
Solid colours:
Tinted:
Mirrored;
The bezels are made from 3mm acrylic. The template I have at the moment is for the 'standard' 3x3 Jap button layout (8th one down on Slagcoin, see [here (http://slagcoin.com/joystick/layout.html)]).
These are some green and mirrored ones I have just finished for a customer:
The bezels are hand template routed, 3.2mm beveled and then hand polished with 320,600,800,1200 grit emery and then polished to a high gloss with Novus 3 and 2.
Prices for the bezels are $12 each + actual shipping.
The bezels holes are available in three sizes - 28mm or 1 1/8th (for 'Happ' style buttons) and 30mm for Seimtsu/Sanwa or other 30mm buttons.
Obviously these bezels are only suitable for new panels as the holes are unlikely to line up with existing panels (unless you have CNC or very accurately drilled yours to the same dimensions) as the hole centers are well within 0.004".
To aid drilling your CP to line up with the bezels I'm also offering drilling guides. You can screw or stick these to your CP and use them to guide your drill so that everything lines up perfectly.
As with the bezels, these are available with 28mm, 1 1/8" or 30mm holes depending on what buttons/drill you are using.
I will include a drill guide for free with four bezels or more. Other wise they are $8 each.
I can also make bezels for other button layouts. If there is interest for at least five bezels of a particular layout I will make a template to produce them.
I'm also offering dustwashers made out of the same materials. They can be any size (inner and out diameters). They are also template routed and given the same polishing treatment.
Here are some 55mm OD/9.5mm ID pink and mirrored ones for the U360/JLW:

Prices for these are $6 + actual shipping.
-
can you make a touchscreen bezel in pink for a 15" ELO?
-
I dont see why not.
I made a pink 5mm bezel for pinky (with an extra 5mm shroud to house the LED wiring).
(The bezel still has the protective film on in that pic, the actual colour is that of the dust washer in the picture above).
If you let me know sizes etc you want I'll get a price for the Acrylic and see what I can do for you :)
-
yeah, its your fault I'm working on a pink jukebox in the first place. measurements will be coming as soon as I get em. appreciate it!
-
A long time ago I wanted "clear" dust washers for the u360s so It would be able to reveal my art better underneath the panel. I eventually wanted longer shafts also they sit too low on my 3/4'' wood.
-
Clear ones are no problem too, let me know if you want some.
-
Just finished these 25mm black J-stick/U360 washers this morning.
They were 'fun' to route ;D

-
Finished these custom 8mm polycarb Slug Buster punch guides this morning:
I have a couple of 38mm Sanwa JLF dustwashers to make tomorrow in translucent red and translucent blue, I'll post some pics when they are done.
-
Dark blue tint and red tinted 38mm Sanwa JLW washers for a customer over at SRK.

I just received that pink dustwasher posted above. The pics don't do it justice. It is absolutely PERFECT - like it was made by a robot or something... hmmm... maybe it was?
-
Franco,
I received my bezels and template yesterday. They are absolutely perfect. It must be the flash that made them looked more washed out in the pics you posted above. Although they aren't as neon green as the manufacturer's picture represents they aren't as washed out as the pics you posted above of them. Thanks again.

Cheers guys, glad you are happy with them
I do need to get a better camera though, I can never seem to get good enough photos.
I contacted the plastics supplier and suggested they change there stock photo to something more like the actual green.
-
Another product added:
MDF relief template for counterboring the area around Sanwa OSBN-24/30 or Seimitsu PS-14-DN/GN/KN screw type buttons.
Example of use:

I'm opening a webstore soon wih these products and many more. The prices are likely to increase so grab them whist you can ;)

I have some coloured and mirrored acrylic dust washers left over from an arcade expo here in the UK and I'm selling them at half price.
/\ Pic before the show. I can get better additional pics if required.
Usual price is £4/$6 each, I'm offering them for £4/$6 a pair.
The colours I have left are:
Orange
Chrome/mirrored
Blue
Pink
Green
Black
Purple
Translucent red
Translucent blue
White
Red
As per usual they are precision hand routed, 3.2mm beveled and then polished from 320>1200 grit before being polished to a high gloss shine with Novus 3+2. They have a 9.5mm bore which will suit the Sanwa JLF, JLW (and its variants - J-stick, U360.) I'm not sure about other sticks but they should fit any with a shaft diameter of <9mm.
First class postage in the UK is £1, Airmail small packet postage in the EU is £1.60 and to the US is $4. All items send in padded mailers.

Seimitsu won't work they have a shaft diameter of 10mm.
So did you recover from the show yet? ;)
Michael

Cheers from the info bud, I didnt think they fitted Seimitsu's but I wasnt sure.
I didn't get to go to the show as I had a works night out which I couldn't get out of. :timebomb:
It's a shame as it doesn't look like there will be another event after the actions of one of the organisers but its not really something I should go into here.

Bumpity :bump

Are any of those on the table Green tinted as shown in sample above? I think I would need the tinted if it is not., much
-
I only have opaque green ready made at them moment.
I think I should have some green tinted acrylic in stock though but if I made some more they would be back up to full price. To be honest I never want to see a dustwasher again after making that lot :D

Pairs of pants? Maybe I will order.... ;)
-
Franco, still have these? I might buy some soon if you do.
-
I still have a few sets left over. Most of the popular colours are gone though.
I am doing another run soon though. What are you after?
-
Interrested in reds as well as blacks/darks...either still available?
-
Yes, I have one pair of black and a few pairs of red.
-
Instead of a matching pair, I was thinking one red, one blue (both opaque). That doable?
-
Sure. I can make up a pair for you.

Franco-
Your dust washers look great--I'm interested in learning more & possibly placing an order. I have a few questions:
1 - How does the acryclic wear? Does it get scratched during normal use?
2 - I'm acustomed to black, textured, ABS (I belive) plastic washers. Do you notice a difference playing with polished acrylic vs. "standard" washers?
3 - (Don't laugh...). As you can see, my cab has a relatively simple theme: red & orange & yellow on black: http://i242.photobucket.com/albums/ff97/infernolab/Arcade%20Game/01fullcabinet.jpg (http://i242.photobucket.com/albums/ff97/infernolab/Arcade%20Game/01fullcabinet.jpg) . I want to ask your artistic opinion on how you think colored red, and/or orange, and/or yellow joystick washers (yes, possibly up to 10 of them...) would look, and what sort of cost I'd be looking at for 10 washer shipped to 91107, USA. (or possibly more than 10, if I buy extras to try different color combos...). Perhaps red for the front 4 sticks, orange for the middle 4 sticks, & yellow for the back 2 sticks would work with the red/orange/yellow color progressions used elsewhere?
Thanks,
-Jason

Replied to your PM jasonbar.
I am sorry but I will no longer be making these as there is just not enough return on them for the effort involved in making them.
I'll count up and post what stock I have left over for sale later.
Thanks everyone for your custom.
