Title: Can Someone Direct Me to Info on How to Edit The Default MaLa Layout

Might be the most basic question ever asked on here.  I've spent the last week updating my old system with a new pc, got a new version of MAME working and got MaLa finally working and all configured the way I want.  My final step is to get rid of the ugly default layout.  I found some on the MaLa website that I like but can't for the life of me find out how to change from the default to one of the custom layouts.  On their website page with the free uploaded layouts it says "How to install a Layout?" with nothing but a blank space under it.  Searched online and the best I could come up was a youtube video in Spanish.  I'm guessing this is so basic that nobody even talks about it and that is why I can't find anything.  Sorry for the stupid question but I'm a 20 handicapper when it comes to this.

Because I am at least a 20 handicapper I could use a source with specific directions like "look for this file, open it, click xyz" etc.  I would be more than happy to pay someone who would take the time to help walk me through setting up a layout with video snaps etc.  Thanks

Try pming or e-mailing mike boss -- he makes custom layouts for people for $25 (has a thread in this sub forum with e-mail address and info - So would figure he probably knows and is usually willing to help  :cheers:

Thanks for pointing me in Mike's direction. He put together a great layout for me and made it easy to get it in place. Just what I needed. Merry Christmas and cheers.  :cheers:
