Hi all;
Wonder if anyone can help
Getting my Retro gaming bug back again, I've whipped out a RetroPC that I mothballed years ago, it's running:
Windows XP 32bit
ATI X300 Card
CRT EmuDriver 1.2
VMMaker version 1.3c
Groovymame v0.147u3
Working perfectly, but needing something smaller
I have a Lenovo HTPC with an integrated Graphics card that seems perfect as a replacement:
Windows 7 SP 1 64bit
AMD Radeon HD 6400
CRT Emudriver & CRT Tools 2.0 beta 10 (Crimson 16.2.1 non-GCN* cards) for Windows 7/8/10 64-bits
GroovyMAME 0.190 - Switchres v0.017e
I use a B&O MX4000 TV through a USMA ultimate scart adaptor
For the life of me with the new setup I cannot get games with odd resolutions (like Irem 384 x 256, Sega 416 x 224)
to work, Groovymame seems to switch res this to an odd interlace format. In VMMaker I can only generate 24 modelines on the new machine which does not include the
resolutions for Irem and other games...the old VMMaker generated 120 modelines.
My old PC is working perfectly with these games (evem Irem games like R-Type does not crop
the score and status bars at the bottom) This old man is desperately trying to replecate what he built a few years ago but failing quite miserably lol
Any advice, have I setup VMMaker all wrong?
Cheers

Think I stumbled on the answer :)
Set VMMaker to use the super resolution ini file...
