Standard button label sets are $12 (white or black) for a single set, or 2 for $20. Other colors are available for $15/set. These prices do not include shipping. (see below)
I do not allow decal substitutions in my std. sets.
Custom decal sets are $0.50/decal. A $5 minimum purchase (+ shipping) is required, unless included with a std. set of button labels. This allows for up to 10 decals.
Joystick surrounds are $5/pr. + shipping. Please specify which style (A-J) when ordering.
Please contact me regarding pricing on custom/personalized sets.
Shipping: 1st Class Shipping within the USA is just $1 for most orders. International 1st Class shipping is $3. Larger orders that are unable to fit within a standard envelope will cost more to ship.
Acceptable payment methods:
1. PayPal. Payment via "gifting" is always appreciated but never required.
2. Amazon gift card. .

Just joined for this. Finally getting around to making an arcade pedestal from a nba jam TE control panel for mame instead of using my wii classic controllers for a more authenticate feel. Really like this idea since I already have the buttons and don't want to re buy transparent ones for no good reason.
Any way you can make them like this:

ok, just wanted to make sure that bezel wasn't interchanged with something else. As far as the bezel goes, I don't have a vector, only a large jpeg I found online (http://n2truth.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/galaga-bezel.png). If you look closely, you will see imperfections that show up from the original scan.
THIS (http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=215429) guy made a vector, but I highly doubt he'll just give it away.

Just wanted to drop a quick note. I currently am out of white sets ATM, and don't know when I will make it down to my shop. We just got hammered with snow again tonight on top of what we already had last week. I'm paraplegic and it's difficult to leave the house with even just a couple inches on the ground. If you need black, blue, or red, I currently have a couple sets of each on hand. Otherwise, will probably be early next week before I can produce more. I'll make more than enough this next time and keep an abundance of white on hand.

Got them on Monday. Sorry for the late reply. They came out great and can't wait to get them on my buttons. I'll have pictures up prob in two weeks when I finish up on my 4 player control panel. Thanks again for doing to the extra colors goes great with my color player theme. Just picked up green and yellow n64 controllers to go with my red and blue I had when the system launched to keep the theme lol.

is this sticky vinyl that you stick to the top of keys? Wouldn't they rub off?

Yes, this is colored vinyl with a sticky bottom. Should stay on the buttons, depending on how hard you mash the buttons.
Also, I am leaving for vacation next week, so any orders placed AFTER Wednesday 20th won't ship until AFTER April 2nd.

I received my set. I was very happy with the shipping time and the quality of the product. One problem though, I thought these were designed to fit on standard arcade buttons. The "exit" one fit fine, but "pause" is far too long to fit on the button. In my case I ended up using the pause symbol - two vertical lines. I am not as happy with this as not all users of my system understand that symbol.
It would be good to let people know that not all the included images will fit on standard buttons.

My sizes were based upon pongo's original design. I can try and recut them smaller, but I'm already close to my machine's capabilities at less than 1/4" tall.
A PM would have been more appropriate to resolve this, don't you think?

I complimented you on your fast shipping and the quality of the product. Letting your potential customers know that some of the labels don't fit on a standard arcade button is a good idea and I don't think I did anything wrong by making that information public. I would have liked to have known that before my order - it was my incorrect understanding that these were labels designed to be placed right on the buttons.
I am glad that you provide these items and I feel you are doing a great service to those who use these forums.

I am in needing of getting a couple things cut in adhesive vinyl. Not button decals though, what I want is two small designs roughtly 2"x2", two in white and a second design similar in size, again two of them in yellow. Would you be able to cut these? I live in Canada, do you ship to Canada, what would the cost be?
Edit: Also when designing, does the art need to be reversed before being sent to you? I wouldn't want to get it back and find out that the adhesive is on the wrong side of the design.

shipping to canada usually doesn't run more than a couple dollars. Are you placing the decal underneath the substrate or on top? If you want it underneath, it would need reversed cut. yes, .ai, .eps, or .pdf is fine, as long as its vectored.

well i was because that is what i thought you meant, but he is able to make custom pieces, so you can just send him and email with the art you want printed and the dimensions.

Thanks for taking up the Pongo button vinyl torch. BTW the "pause" fits fine on Happs or GGG Classix concave buttons.

louis are you going to be puting this cabinet on a stand or anything? and personally (not harm no foul) i think that you cabinet looks a little plain right now. you need to add something to the actual shape of it to make it more appealing to the eye. :D

I don't know how I missed this. I don't check this particular thread anymore, but instead use the "View New Posts" button. I must have skimmed right over it. I would really appreciate that Pongo. I am going into surgery on Aug. 1, so I don't know how much downtime I will have. If somebody needs a set of button decals that I have in stock, it won't be an issue. However custom orders might be delayed.

A bit further down in the thread TJArcade displayed a file that was from Pongo, and then Pongo replied stating he'd send you copies of the files he had so you could use them. Is there a way we can get pictures of all the available sheets? I'd like to buy one with some of the words, but I'd rather have the word COIN instead of the 25 cents. In white, please.

He hasn't sent me any files yet, but I've been able to replicate most things so far. I am however still down for a few weeks as I recover from surgery.

Is there a size limit to what you can print? I thought about replacing my Galaga with a repro but decided to keep the original one.... however, I was considering making a custom bezel for my ShoRyuKade, but I wont lie, its pretty big. like 25" wide and 32" tall. I'll measure to be safe but I wanted to see if its even an option.

Print/laminate max is either 52" or 54". I never remember which.

Length is only limited by the length of the roll, which is normally 100 yds.

Mr. Niss: sorry if this has been asked before. do you have a color chart or site to reference for same? would it be possible to do an alien green or is there such thing as glow in the dark vinyl?

there is a thing as GITD vinyl, but we don't stock it. Sorry.

I have the designs already done and ready to go in .PDF format. I wanted to know how much do you think it would be to print these up, cut them, and send them to me? (I'm in the US.. NYC to be exact).
I would have PM'd you, but it's saying I don't have permission to do that yet. After this one I'm also looking for another similar job to be done, but I have to finalize the designs.

How well would the vinyl do as a board game surface? I need to make a 20" chess board, and I thought perhaps I could stick the vinyl to a piece of 3/4" oak for a board.

I would like to place an order but I have some custom requests.
1) White is fine but I would love for my decals to be chrome. Is that possible?
2) There's a vertical stabilizer for the mouse when playing golf games. Could I get a golf ball printed that would fit on a standard concave button?

knightrdrx, the start and pause full text will roll up onto the raised edges of concave buttons. May not hold up to hard use. Although my pongo era vinyl has held up for several years of light use.

If they are several years old they are probably Pongo's vinyl. The vinyl supplied by SlammedNiss size is different so they may not fit the buttons as you remember. Attached are both types of vinyl that have been scanned in to compare size. The uncut sheet(s) are the new ones supplied by SlammedNiss.

What I was showing is that the new ones were a tiny bit bigger so did not fit fully on the button as well. Hold off or a few days ordering from SlammedNiss as I have sent him some of my original decals for comparison so he can determine the best size. Sent them earlier this week so they should be there next week. Canada to USA.

if that doesn't work out maybe i'll just put the 25cent on the buttons and print or put some labels on the custom control board overlay as long as i don't decide to change them.

In fact, I need to order another set from you slammed, I have a couple more panels I need button decals for.
I may try some type of clearcoat over the decal, just to see if I can protect them from wearing off over time.

If using backlit buttons, the vinyl will almost always appear black or dark in color unless using translucent vinyl which I dont offer.

I have updated the OP with new prices. White or blacks sets will remain at $12/1 or $20/2. All other colors are now $15 shipped as if I try and keep them on hand, they go bad before I sell them. Custom sets will be available but only in addition to a regular set. Also, I am no longer offer partial sets, only full sets from here on out. Sorry for the changes, but being paraplegic has taken it's toll on my body and I don't make it to the shop as often anymore. Thanks for understanding.

Yea, they will go bad if they aren't applied to something within a certain time frame. Anyways, payment received. I should be able to get these mailed out today. (Saturday the 26th)

I got and fitted my decals from Slammedniss today and I am well chuffed with them.
They only took 10 days to get to me from the US and they are real good quality.
My only regret is not asking him to invert the service and return decals but hindsight is great and ime sure he can sort me them out when I place my next order with him :)

For new accounts it just takes a few posts to be able to send pm's so just post a few replies in a couple threads and you'll be able to pm him ( IIRC it is less then 5 replies so really not many - they just have it in place to avoid spam bots from signing up and then sending everyone PMs ! )

I only needed decals for my pause and escape button on my control panel. The buttons were just your basic white buttons and it always bugged the hell out of me. Not now!

I just received my decals from SlammedNiss and I'm over the moon with them.
It will be a while before I'm ready to fit them as I've not even built my cabinet yet (hence no photos) but they look brilliant and they are exactly what I asked for.
If you're looking for button decals then I can't recommend him enough.

Until further notice, I am halting all custom orders until this virus thing gets contained. I will still have my full standard sets in white and black available to mail out, but anything custom will be at least a couple weeks out.
Edit: I can still take custom orders, but my normal 2-3 day turnaround will be more like 2-3 weeks. If you don't mind waiting, feel free to contact me.

Button labels are currently $12/set shipped (white or black) for a single set, or 2 for $20. Other colors available are $15/set shipped.
I do not allow decal substitutions in my std. sets.
Custom decal sets are $0.50/decal. A $5 minimum purchase + $1 shipping is required, unless included with a std. set of button labels. This allows for up to 10 decals.
Joystick surrounds are currently $5/pr. + $1 shipping, unless included with a set of button labels. Please specify which style (A-J) when ordering.

Wondering if you can do the Mythosaur skulls (Boba Fett/Mandalorian symbol) as players 1 and 2 . Also can you do arcade game logos like Atari, Midway, Sega, Nintendo, etc in about 2 inches?

Probably no on the skulls. Too much detail for the size they would have to be cut to fit on a button. The arcade logos shouldn't be a problem though.

I would be hoping for the 'blackout' variety (what do people call these?) where the symbol is transparent, so the black ring around it has to be the full diameter of the button.
I have a test button on the way to take measurements, so if anyone knows the diameter of the insert discs that would help too.

I can cut them to any size for the most part, so if you find out the diameter, I can match it. Then, would just reverse cut them the way I normally would so the symbol portion is the transparent part.
