But the Arcade Version has an actual jump button.I played the arcade version and the jump button wasn't intuitive at all since you push up to go up a level. Somewhere in round 2 or 3 stuff starting coming out that I needed to jump over. I liked the jump button at this point as it references DK and DK Jr.
And of course a fix it button.
The ipad/ipod/android version just jumps from window to window when you move.
As far as I'm concerned, there is room for improvement on both the arcade and the iDevice/Android game.
In case anyone wants to take a look at the graphics and sound packages for Fix It Felix Jr. You can download them from disney directly:

Going to put them together in a pack when I'm done, but I just wanted to show off some progress with a music piece I recreated!
It was a pain figuring out the layers by ear then replaying them on my keyboard, but it's doable!
Now to attempt the main gameplay theme!

Just checked the video again.
The bushes on either side of the building should have one half-bush against the wall, then four bushes stretching outward.
I also noted the flower pots are not there yet, but I assume that's due to the WIP status of your video.
Also, if the method you decide use to scale the graphics up to the screen resolution when in-game end up making them look blurry or aliased at all, I'd be happy to scale each file up for you manually to keep it looking like the arcade game is rendering them.
Just let me know.
Great work with the audio. It really is amazing how fast you work! :applaud:Just checked the video again.

I think the flower pots are only in the ipad version? The game will be lo-res just like the arcade version. I'm running it at 640x480 (4:3) so that doesn't leave much room at the sides of the building.
This is a screenshot of the real arcade version:
Because it's all lo-res I'm not scaling any of the graphics. This is a photo of the lcd-screen I use for testing, there's no blurring at all:

So the one in the movie is different than the one in the promo arcade cab, which is different from the online flash game, which is different from the ipad version, which is different from the mobile versions?
:dizzy:
So the one in the movie is different than the one in the promo arcade cab, which is different from the online flash game, which is different from the ipad version, which is different from the mobile versions?
:dizzy:
In the movie version, Ralph wrecks the top floor completely, which would not be practical in the arcade version where you have to climb more than 3 floors. Also in the movie version Felix magically fixes all the windows in the blink of an eye.
So the arcade version is a more playable version of the movie version. The ipad and online versions are stripped versions of the arcade version.
So unknown to you guys, I've been slaving away since the last posts here working on recreating sound effects, music (as noted in a previous post), and now even graphics.

Amazing work! Don't you need sleep? ;)
What are you guys using to create the game?
I'm using visual C# express and the xna framework for coding the game. Photoshop for the graphics. I don't know what benjamoose is using for the sound effect and music...probably some incredibly cool 8 bit sound synth
I don't want to get too far ahead.
Because i am sure you are far from it.
But what do you guys have in your bag of tricks for the (STUMP/BULLDOZER) intro. lol.
Just curious - are Benjamoose and Sjaak working together on one project or are you two working on similar projects concurently and sharing notes and elements? It's Sjaak's thread but it is a bit confusing on who I should be following for updates. Would two threads help clean this up a bit perhaps?

It's like Voltron. Their parts will come together to kick ass.
I just spent some time fixing my flashing hat graphics (the colors were wrong in the gold band and the shading was using the light blue from his standard hat), and then had to create a new set of flashing hammer graphics as they didn't exist.
For a bit of fun I made a test gif to see how they would look in motion:

Also, I dont like the yellow, why cant our P2 be green too =)
Meh, there weren't different characters for the popular alternating player arcade games of the time this is supposed to be from.
:dunno
At this point, it's not even a definite thing however, Sjaak and I don't have constant communication beyond the tools at this forum so it's not something I've mentioned or discussed, we just have a shared folder filled with graphics and sound, with guides, information, research sources etc. At this point I'm just sort of throwing an idea around for fun, it may not even be in his game at all.
My first priority is making a replica of the physical arcade game (not the movie arcade game). This video sort of shows what I'm going for. That includes the stump animation at the beginning and the kill screen at the end. One and two player mode, free play mode and credit mode.
After that, I'll add some features that were suggested by the contributors. These features can be enabled in a configuration screen.
One of the things I would like to do at this moment is that I would like to fill the initial hi score table with the initials (3 characters) of the people supporting this build. So if you want your initials in the hi score table, let me know.
I just find a great thrill in reproducing things and getting it all correct.
I know there is already some artwork floating around out there for the cabs, Marquees etc etc but I noticed when looking at the disney recreations that they all had some very specific aging and weathering techniques applied to them.
I like to think that my Photoshop and design skills are pretty strong, I'd be willing to volunteer to create all the high-res art files for the actual cabinets and try to recapture all of the aging effects from the Disney cabs if it's something people would want.
Let me know.
Just finished working on a small piece of animation that is not in the flash version.
WOW!!!
I just learned about this effort (thanks Buckethead)...INCREDIBLE!
I donated to the project and if there is room still on the High Score list, please add my initials, SRJ.
I am so happy this effort is underway, and look forward to having this recreation in my machine.
THANK YOU EVERYONE, especially Sjaak and Benjamoose!
I wish we could have gotten the actually arcade machine to emulate, but this is shaping up to be just as good - quite possibly better!
Everything works well for me ;D
Would like to suggest a "horizontal" screen orientation setting or version if possible.
Thanks for the effort bossman.

The final version will be full screen and rotated 90 degrees like the arcade version. So you will need to have a vertically oriented cab.
I'll add an option to run it horizontally, but there will be black bars on the left and right.

I'll add an option to run it horizontally, but there will be black bars on the left and right.
Did some testing:
- I'm sure I missed it, but is there an option to run full screen that I missed?
- Are there plans to have the option to change the default controls?
- I jumped all the way up to the top of the building (I can hear the jump sounds) and then I'm able to go all the way back down.
- I'm assuming you will change the way Felix fixes the windows? Currently he fixes both windows at the same time in this version. It should be the bottom one first and then the top (2 clicks total).
Great work so far!

I have a question about the sounds as well. I've seen a whole bunch of different videos but haven't been able to get a good handle on what the intended "window fixed" chime is supposed to sound like. The one currently being used is kind of chopped off at one end and sounds like a bell.
Was this a placeholder or intended to be the actual sound?
Not sure if this is old news.
Risky move linking here from reddit. From under the radar to the spotlight.
I'd hate to see this go the way of Streets of Rage Remake and Sonic HD. :'(
Awesome Job guys, I would sure like to see your game in the Cab I built my grandson.......

Im all new to the arcade stuff, if you talk to me about cars i can help you.
If i build a cab and then say want to have it as a dedicated fix it felix for instance, can i set it up so i can turn it on from the power point and it loads to the game or will i have to go through a start up menu etc etc?
any links will be appreciated

He seems very cool, And aware about the chance of the PC inside the cabinet going "PLUNK" one day.
Says he is going to scan all the paperwork that is with the cabinet.
And is going to attempt to image the HDD in a couple of weeks.
Hats off to him for at least willing to try.

I hope he pulls through with the request and makes everything readily available.
If this version of the game does become readily available for everyone to use, hopefully it helps Sjaak to finish his version off so we have a choice of which one we want to play.
Hello! Long time lurker, first time poster...How does one donate to this project? Throwing my money at my pc dosen't seem to work :P
Lots of requests from the beta testers to do a horizontal and vertical version. New beta is available that allows to set the screen resolution, go fullscreen and rotate the whole thing.
Best way to run the game (no borders, no scaling) is fullscreen on a 4:3 display with a resolution of 640x480. Anyone running this on a cab with a real 4:3 crt?

One thing I forgot to add- that cabinet has a joystick encoder, not a keyboard one, so I couldn't run FIFJr with the controls. Will FIFJr be keyboard (encoder) only, or can you add the flexibility to change input types?
i just downloaded and played this, so far so good.
apart from the ctrl key and arrow keys are there any other buttons of use in this version?
is felix supposed to die with the falling bricks?
after all the windows in the screen are fixed is ralph meant to go higher up the building?
so for breaking balls.
I noticed that the content folder contains a 'music' folder but there is no music in the game. Has this not been implemented yet?
Buckethead is right about escaping. Can you program 'esc' to quit to make it Mame-compatible?
Did you run both Microsoft excutables first?
I left the program running while I was doing other things and after about 5 minutes weird things started happening:
First the falling bricks disappeared, then Ralph was gone, followed by the windows. Finally, the program crashes.
Has this happened to any of you other testers, or is it just my machine?

maybe Ralph went turbo took the windows and ran off while u weren't watching.
Here's the error screen.
I've removed the contribution link from the first post. I've you're interested in supporting this project of want to join the beta test, please contact me via PM.
Disney spy?
Disney spy?
Saint would get a letter from his ISP since it is advertised on his site, which would eventually follow with a C&D to the related parties.
Disney doesn't mess around like that.
It would be an extreme move only if Disney made a home arcade port.
Just call it something else and change the graphics a bit. ::)
Disney spy?
Getting a lot of requests from people who just joined the forum. I doubt they are all spies, but I would like to mention this: This project is for arcade enthusiast only, people who have actually built one or more cabinets and are actively contributing in this or another arcade community.
If you want to play the game on your pc, just go to the disney site and play the flash version, don't bother following this thread, because there will never be a downloadable version of the game.
Sjaak,
I got your PM but can't seem to reply...
I've got a Crystal Castles Cocktail (S/N CK00030) in great shape (new original top glass) and a Gauntlet machine in OK shape that plays really well. My son loves them and can actually play Gauntlet relatively well.
So I finally saw the Wreck-It Ralph movie and now I get what all the fuss is about. :applaud:
Sorry for being another first time user, but I saw that you needed accurate arcade sounds and I wanted to let you know that I have a couple of sounds that I ripped. They're around 16khz quality, but they're clean with no background noise. I'm also working on artwork as well...I just finished a TURBOTIME marquee.

No, I have clean sound effects for Fix it Felix. I'm not working on a Turbotime game, just the marquee artwork.

Oh, ok. I was just a little confused.
May i ask why you are working on the marquee?
Perhaps someone else is working on a game?

My son is one and a half. I can't wait until he's excited about gaming like your son!
Plays great, joystick works using joytokey, does anyone know if there is any real joystick support built in yet?
Just ran it right now. Didn't work with my joystick, which is running through a GGG gamepad encoder. Do I need to change something?
Payment sent! Thanks again, Sjaak :)
Just curious, this is a question for all the people here who are building a cabinet. Are you doing to the four button control panel or just three, like DK. I noticed that I played the game at DisneyQuest much better without the jump button, and I don't have a lot of experience working with wood, so I'm indifferent to cutting up a good CP just for a button I'm not going to use, lol. What do you guys think?

You need the jump button in higher levels to jump over stacks of bricks.
I noticed that the Level Complete music wasn't there so I opened up FamiTracker and wrote the song from what I remembered when playing the game. I do have a recording of the actual song from the game somewhere that I'll have to pull out and compare, but I uploaded my version and wanted to see what you guys think.

If you want, I can help out with sound effects and music. I've been doing sound design for over 7 years now. :)

That would be really helpfull. I'm going to make a folder with all the sounds I have and a list of sounds I need and share that with you...
Awesome, I have a lot more stuff to share, such as music from the game via the Complete Score that was leaked. If anyone has video of gameplay with fairly audible sounds, I can use that video for reference to recreate sounds and music from the game.
i tested the 15th of feb update and it is miles ahead of previous ones.
have you set a time limit on it? reason i ask is after a certain amount of time it goes to the main screen and i have to start again.

When I tried the latest version, the screen goes black for a few seconds when I start a new game. It doesn't seem right. Am I the only one seeing this?
I was going to try and beat the highscore but got bored.

Not me brother! I am loving this! been playing all weekend.
It will become even better when the Flower Baskets, Shutters, Block Piles, Pies and Ducks get in there!
I was just waiting for the game to come out before building the cab

I am not a lawyer, but I think you are perhaps setting yourself up to get in a great deal more trouble in your current position, where you are only providing the game to people who have paid you money - i.e., profiting off your use of Disney's IP - than if you were distributing it free of charge to any other hobbyist.
He has not taken a SINGLE PENNY for the game. All monies were used for his cab, not the game. To show gratitude for helping with his project he's letting people play his private game at no cost.

I don't think this is in any danger of litigation. I also don't think that $25 to keep Sjaak programing in his spare time is a bad deal, but I do think the above argument is bogus. Nobody is donating so they can watch Sjaak build a FiFJ cab. Everybody that has donated has access to the game in progress but we haven't seen pics of a cabinet and this is not a cabinet building thread. Is there an issue in calling the kettle black here? Worst case scenario is a C&D letter and this project instantly becomes Repair it Ramone.
Those are awesome!
Out of curiousity, how did the new people who signed up just to post in this thread find out about it?
Was there an article out there somewhere about it? Beta testers on youtube?
haven't seen pics of a cabinet and this is not a cabinet building thread. Is there an issue in calling the kettle black here? Worst case scenario is a C&D letter and this project instantly becomes Repair it Ramone.
:soapbox:
This is one of my gripes about the Internets. When some people don’t get what they want they become armchair lawyers, GPL enforcers, etc. Then they badger the developer until said developer quits.
Get over it people. It is his ball and he can invite whomever he wants to play.
I’m not one to bash posters based upon ‘newness’ but please try and understand the culture around here. We are a very supportive bunch, but we don’t respond well to idle threats or reverse-psychology rhetoric.
So stick around, read a few threads, ask a few questions. Get acclimated before you start making demands.
Cabinet is looking good. I've got a question for you since it looks like it's built from scratch and not modified from a Nintendo cab.
Did you use the plans on Jakobud for a Donkey Kong cabinet or do something different?

Then you are wrong, just like your sister. Once the cost of materials for the cab was filled he stopped taking donations , that or when people started signing up just to try to buy the game(AFAIK). and I donated to help him get his cab done, getting the game was a bonus (honestly Ive played less than 5 min of it, I'm waiting for the more difficult stuff to get put in AND I own the DS version). I donated to that guy who lost his wife, I donated to get Ken Layton internet access, I've given money at work for people who lost family, why cant I donate to Sjaak?
Le Chuck,
If you go back to the 1st page of the thread.
Sjaak has a space that says (Reserved)
I believe this is going to be for the cab building posts/pix. ( But i have been wrong before)
Also, He said that he was starting with the software before the cab.
Well, let's do a headcount. How many of you are interested in a clone of the Fix it Felix jr. game. And how many are still interested if they have to donate $25 (beforehand) for the time I will be spending on research?
But seriously, if there's enough interest and everyone makes a donation, I could certainly develop a pc version of the game.
Finished my cab this weekend and update looking and playing great. Beautifully done sir! Thank you again for doing this.
Sjaak, your cab is stunning. I will repeat a question from above. Is it painted or laminate?
Doc
Really great paint job! Looks like laminate to me! Did you apply with roller? Spray? Any sanding?
My FIFJ replica cab has more of an "aqua(greenish)-blue" color, it was originally a popeye cab. All the Felix replica cabs I'm seeing have more of a dark blue thing going. Any thoughts on this?Really great paint job! Looks like laminate to me! Did you apply with roller? Spray? Any sanding?
I used a roller. And there was a lot of sanding between layers...

Originally this was going to be a DK cab, so I picked a color that came closest to the original color. I think the Disney cabs were originally DK cabs too.
Should you be able to hide under flower boxes and not get hit by bricks?
Flower Baskets !!!
Got some bad news on the shutters, though. In the arcade game shutters (horizontal obstacles) have been replaced with falling stacks of bricks, that you can jump over. I guess that was the reason I had to watch like a million videos of people playing, only to find out there were no shutters... :banghead:
Anyone else feel like they really want to play Ralph in this game, and not goody-two-shoes Felix?
Just me?
Oh.
>:D
ok guys, i went and took a look at the cabinet, this thing is mint! i will not be turning it into a FIFJ game. I will be taking the same route as Sjaak and using a Jakobud plan with the additional measurements from the thread he mentioned.
There is a 2 player version? I mean it's not players alternating? *curious*
I just received two videos from srarcade with gameplay video of the 2 player version and gameplay from level 1 to (almost) 5. All recorded with a tripod at 1080p, so the quality is extremely good. He went over to Disney Quest this weekend to record the videos!
So many thanks to you, srarcade!
Received a lot more video's from srarcade, gameplay levels 1-6, attract mode, demo mode, instruction, etc
And two long video's of the speaker ;D, with very clear sound!!!!! This will be a great help in recreating/ripping the sound effects.
He also described in great detail, how Felix is controled with the joysticks and also a lot of other notes on gameplay. A lot of this stuff is already in the new beta version!

Does anyone have a clear picture of the block of bricks/wall that drops down in the higher levels? Or maybe someone who can photoshop a better picture?

Not sure if this has been posted anywhere else yet, looks like Disney just put it up yesterday. I didn't see it on the blu-ray or anything. Sort of a documentary on the fake history of Fix it Felix hi-scores. I enjoyed it. Not a lot of shots of the game so don't know if it'll help Sjaak but interesting none the less!

I just got a hard error when completing the first board with the March 1 build. It's a DRM issue, likely on the song or sound you are playing for the board transition. Sound about right?
I'm running a pretty non-standard setup, using Windows 7 under Virtual Box on Ubuntu Linux.
Then you want to make sure that the pixels in your brick-pile graphic are all lined up with the pixels in the background in the same ways. Slydsho, that pixel-art you made is of a higher resolution than the background, which was doubled in width and height so that every cluster of four pixels represents one pixel.

Haven't seen that error either, I've played on two seperate Windows 7 computers. One 32bit the other 64bit with very different specs internally. If Sjaak is right about the Media Player issue, wonder if it could have something to do with Virtual Box?
1. At the end of each level, the medal starts out big and then gets scaled down to Felix size. I'm not 100% sure but I think you're scaling using the high resolution of our modern displays vs. the 8-bit resolution of old times. It's subtle for sure, and not that important. I guess it depends on what level of authenticity you are going for.
2. When you complete a level, after fixing the last window, you are immediately taken to the "you fixed it board". Again, not huge, but in the old arcade games I remember more of a freeze with a small delay. Some games I think even did some sort of flashing thing (I'm thinking of pacman). Otherwise the transition feels too abrupt. Maybe even some audio confirmation would be good. Then again I haven't played the "real" Disney game.
3. Felix feels a little disconnected from the controls. Sometimes I press right or left while he's fixing and the keypress is eaten. This is normal for some games, I have a gauntlet machine and you can either shoot or move but not both at the same time. But for some reason in this type of game it feels a little weird. Like perhaps it should queue the move and do it when Felix is done fixing rather than just eat the event. Maybe with a real joystick this wouldn't matter.
4. This could be a function of my VM, the sounds are just a hair behind the movement, so when I tell Felix to go up or down the sound is a bit delayed.
5. No Felix dies sound. You can probably grab this from the movie itself when Ralph barges into the party and the roof falls on Felix. I can grab the sound for you if you'd like. I understand, ideally it would be the sound from the cabinets, if anyone has access to that.
I know from experience that the Flash version ........
My other gripe about the Flash version........
In the older Flash versions,.....
and the font for the Flash version is stretched out or something.
I've not seen Wreck-it-Ralph, from what I can gather this is the game in that film, that replaces Wreck-it-Ralph? It comes from a real arcade game? Is that game in Mame, and called Fix-it-Felix/Fix-it-Felix Jr?
srarcade made this video especially for this project. In this video you can see what the game is going to be like. For example, there is a short animation before the I fixed it screen and there are more sounds. This video is my main guideline.
What are you guys using to create the game?
Hey Sjaak,
When checking the video Meyer put up, it seems that the version you have is a bit different than the game's version.
I took a screenshot of it and fixed the angle using the window next to the bricks, but you can see it has 4 bricks on the left top instead of random rubble.

Keep up the great work!

That brick pile is starting to look good. Now I wonder whether there shouldn't be any black pixels in the graphic, since most other things in the game don't use outlines if they can get away with it.

I was debating that quietly to myself as well....
heres another revision..

until we get a lossless screen capture of a few full games, this is all academic. It will be virtually impossible to get a perfect, bit-for-bit copy, and it's a waste of time to try.
if that sounds like an attack, i apologize; it is not meant as anything like that.
Hey Sjaak, do you need help with any more sound effects? Let me know what you need and I'll be more than happy to work on it. :)
I'm noticing that some of the notes are off in the second arpeggio in the main song. I know it's not a big problem, but yeah, just wanna let you know. Also, I got the DVD and I'm planning on ripping some of the sound effects from the beginning of the movie to see if we can finally get some clean sounds.

I created a folder 'missing sound' in the music folder. There are some sounds there from the recording that srarcade made (Fix It Felix Jr - First 2 Levels Sound Only by srarcade.mp3) and I could use some clean versions.I'm noticing that some of the notes are off in the second arpeggio in the main song. I don't have a better version yet. The movie version is ok, but it is different from the arcade version. Benjamoose created the one i'm using now, but I haven't been able to contact him...
Okay, awesome, I'll go ahead and get started on some of those sounds :) Just curious, how is the arcade version different from the movie version?
That's interesting....

higher points, no distortion.
I made some observations about this after finding a more complete movie soundtrack. I get the impression that the song used for the arcade and second Flash versions is an unfinished version of the one from the movie. If you listen to the beginning of the song in the real game, before the melody comes in, you'll hear it go through eight chord changes altogether:I'm noticing that some of the notes are off in the second arpeggio in the main song. where are the best set of plans for a DK cab so i can get the curves and angles as close as possible to an original cab?
and Scr33n's thread has measurements, should help also.. http://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?PHPSESSID=d40d5dbf78191b9aa8fc0b3447cfae46&topic=783.0 (http://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?PHPSESSID=d40d5dbf78191b9aa8fc0b3447cfae46&topic=783.0)where are the best set of plans for a DK cab so i can get the curves and angles as close as possible to an original cab?
Probably jakobud.com. I believe it's been said here that not all cabinet dimensions on the site are 100% accurate, but they're pretty close.

Incidentally, it would be nice if someone could recommend the best application for easily recreating music like that heard in Fix-It Felix, Jr. and TurboTime, as PulseBoy doesn't even offer simple things like sawtooth waves or actual 8-bit noise channels as opposed to synthesized drums.
Im pretty sure the high score in the movie is 15,300 I know thats whats in the intro movie to the crummy Wii game.In the movie it's 120501. I don't know how someone scored just 1 point. Maybe they threw it in as a reference to something that happened on the date 2012/05/01, but I don't know what.
(http://img837.imageshack.us/img837/5564/wreckitralphsweepsdetai.jpg)I like how they make it look as if you'll be getting the one from the movie, with the more intricate instructions and the different colored shirt for Felix.
I'd heard of Famitracker, but I'm not sure how much the game's music conforms to the Nintendo Entertainment System's simple waveforms. The game-play music and first introductory story music sound a little FM-synthy to me.

So I got the second frame of Felix's death animation done. It helped my confidence that I decided to scale it onto screenshots of HD iPhone gameplay I had downloaded to see that the pixels all fit, even if they were a bit blurred. That was how I realized my first frame was missing a pixel of height from Felix's midsection.
Then I constructed the approximate sequence of frames in the entire death animation, throwing on some half-hearted edits of the final two frames just to finish it out.
Yeah, I wouldn't mind if someone redid those final frames from scratch. The more I altered them, the worse I felt.

Hello i come from Germany... My english is not Good. I use GoogleTranslator.
I would like to be beta testers.
How can I get contact. I can not send private messages.
Oh.
can I buy this version later?
Can you make any exception?
I'm thinking that a lot of the sounds were made exclusively for the game by another person and that's why the level complete song and other sound effects sound different from the movie.Sure, that sounds plausible. All the music in the arcade game that's not in the movie tends to be very short and simple, mostly C major chords and scales, perhaps so they wouldn't have to consult Henry Jackman or whoever. Now, the chiptunes that were made for promotional purposes, like those heard in the teaser trailers, the online game, or the official website, tend to sound like knock-offs of music from existing games: Ralph's theme was a take on the entrance music from Castlevania; the Game Over tune sounds like a play on the one from Mappy (and has that piano/string synth sound); and Felix's theme (Click "8-Bit Mode" (http://disney.go.com/wreck-it-ralph/#/fix-it-felix/8bitmode) for it) is like the high score entry from Dig Dug.
The game's music is similar to the NES, with the exception of the string sample that plays during the melody. That's much more like SNES stuff. The only sound that sounds remotely like FM synthesis is the glass break sound, but that's just me.Yeah, the string sample might be what I'm thinking of. In the beginning of the intro it sounds like that one voice I've heard a lot of MIDIs default to when they're trying to be transcriptions of "8-bit" sounds.
Also, I'm thinking they didn't actually used Famitracker but rather just used regular synths with simple standard square, pulse, triangle and sawtooth oscillators.
Hahah, I just read that here (http://www.mouseinfo.com/forums/content/1973-eight-things-you-probably-missed-first-time-you-watched-wreck-ralph.html). Guess I read the date backwards after assuming it was from this century.Im pretty sure the high score in the movie is 15,300 I know thats whats in the intro movie to the crummy Wii game.In the movie it's 120501. Nice progress, I'll send you a copy
Here is the sit down Fix-It-Felix-Jr conversion that I'm working on!
In place of the fix button, it's going to have a real hammer that you strike against a thick metal plate.
Please send link as it is pointless to continue building this without the game.
I've already got a fortune tied up in artwork.

Thanks Buckethead! Excellent picture btw!! :D What did you use for your LCD monitor?
Now I'll just have to go back to my day job of being a adult movie star. At least I can still yell "I'm gonna wreck it!" before I go on.
I can't believe you guys! I've waited 4 weeks for my specialized hammer pictured below to assist me in my build and now you guys are mocking it! Well it looks like my build is totally scrapped. are you going to make a bonus level with the qbert characters like at the end of the movie?
I'm heading to DisneyQuest tomorrow. Does anyone need any particular pictures or video of the cabinet/game?
Funny, I m planning on heading over there on Monday. I guess if between then and now if anything else if found to need reference, keep me posted. :P
Okay, lots of great research and info on the FIFJr today.
Okay, lots of great research and info on the FIFJr today.
Nice job. Great information. I noticed the music for the high score entry screen in another video. Now I have to hurry to make a high score entry screen to go with your music... :D
Speaking of the DQ machines, it seems like the game isn't locked to specific hardware. I was told that many (not sure if all) of the machines there were running off of older server boxes. Doesn't make much of a difference with the dongle in place, but it's interesting nonetheless.
I wonder if they're told not to backup the drives, or they just don't bother since they're on Disney property already.
So far I've taken a few videos of the death sequence and a few other things, though it looks like that might be covered now. I may head back again tomorrow so I'm still open to helping grab any references possible.
Also, here's two videos you requested: Ralph movement and Felix's death animation:
Is it me? Or does Ralph move faster in the video than in the beta ?
I did compare my marquee artwork that I vectorized to the real deal and I gotta say, it's really damn close :D
If you do go back tomorrow, can you can bring a ruler and measure the side art, the black wood panel where the bezel sits in and control panel overlay, as well as take someSure thing. I'm still waiting to see what my schedule for tomorrow is like, but given I go I'll try to get those measurements.
Just a little observation, sometimes the pile of bricks lands in areas that makes it impossible to continue. For instance, Felix stands under a row of four flower boxes, only one gap to the right. Over the gap is another flower box. So no problem just jump up the gap and walk left, but then the pile of bricks falls down and lands and blocks the left passage way. Only way out is to restart the game or kill Felix.

Can't you just jump over the pile of bricks using the jump button? Can you maybe make a small drawing?

No I have not been successfull with that. Have done a drawin in paint ::)
The Jump button's functionality definitely feels a bit different between the official game and the beta. I wish I had gotten some video regarding it (wasn't able to head over there yesterday afternoon), but it did feel like there was a larger timing window to perform it. (Which confuses me looking back since Felix's movement is the same, if not quicker than the beta) AFAIK there was only one time for me where use of the button was required in the arcade version, pictured below (the very right window on Felix's level was the broken one). Never came across the situation you've drawn out.
I'm don't think that you're able to jump from the right of one window to the left of another (and vice versa) as in the beta, and I guess there really wouldn't be a time where doing that is necessary.
Yeah, I really need some input on the jump button. In the beta, you press left or right and then quickly press the jump button. If you press jump before Felix is moving, he just jumps up. But it's hard that way to make a jump.If I get free time between now and Saturday I'll try to make a stop and figure out how it's supposed to work.
One thing that I have tested several times is to have a pile of bricks in the middle of two windows to the far right, stand as far to the right as possible and jump up next to the pile. Instant death without even touching the pile. Even as Super Felix the pile kills him by doing this.
First thing is that Felix's speed seems to increase dramatically in terms of both side-to-side movement and jumping/falling after he's eaten a pie. What about fixing speed, that is, hammer-swinging duration?
You can also see in that video that it's possible to jump while on the highest platform, overlapping Ralph but not taking damage from him. That's cool. But are you pressing Jump to do this, or are you pushing the joystick up? Felix seems to be jumping very high there.
Ralph movement:This video has got me wondering, what happens if you leave a pie alone for a very long time, like over a minute or two? This would help confirm that Ralph only does his hyper-punch routine in reaction to picking up the pie, not coincidental timing to when it's presented. I think only the second smartphone version makes the pies disappear after some time, but it would be nice to make sure. It would also be nice to be sure whether you ever receive multiple pies as in early levels of the first Flash version, or if you ever see "fake-out" Nicelanders who don't give pies as in later levels of the Flash version.
http://youtu.be/CUEVLQl6wdI (http://youtu.be/CUEVLQl6wdI)
Found a difficult situation to get past! First time this has happened and I've played it quite a few, but a level started with flower boxes completely covering one floor making it impossible to go up higher. I'll post a screenshot.Heh. The smartphone version does this on purpose in the very early levels to give you less to do, with closed/unbreakable windows above the cover of course. I've noticed the Flash version uses up to a certain number of each kind of blocker depending on how high up the building you are, and it must have to determine if those blockers would form a closed square, or a U shape against a side, or an L shape around a corner, and toss out one of the blockers in those events.
I agree with Buckethead, the pixel shader is pretty cool. Having it as an option in ini would be even cooler.
Only thing I noticed was in that version the life counter was missing. Otherwise seemed to run good.
Played the "shaded" version. Went full screen but it cut off the bottom row of windows. For me the shaded version isn't necessary.
What are you guys using to create the game?
Birds from higher floors (level 3 and beyond) begin to scroll across the screen right after the current floor is finished and the transition to the next starts.I saw that. It appears the ducks will get a head start on their flight routine based on how long Ralph has to shuffle back to the center, whereas when you get killed by a duck, both ducks dutifully blink back to their start positions while Ralph stays where he is.
Players swap out only when the previous player has died, and of course progress made on a level is saved for when the player resumes next.I suppose the kill screen would cheat the other player out of the rest of the game, wouldn't it?

Coming up (in the next couple of days)
Just curious...does the current beta feature joystick support? None of my commands are working at all. :dunno
Last beta around feb I was able to use a pc joystick. its compatible with pc and ps3.
When you put back in support for the last joystick you used I should be just fine. (hopefully)
I'm unsure of the button layout to use joytokey i know the directionals but I dont know what the hammer and jump buttons are.
For the parts of the movie that match the real game, disneyscreencaps.com (http://disneyscreencaps.com/wreck-it-ralph-2012/) has HD screenshots taken a few times per second for the whole movie that you can use for reference. So for fast animations, it's unlikely they'll have grabbed the frame you need, but for large objects, you can see the pixels pretty well.
The sprites look great so far, fantastic work!
Also, how on earth did someone get 120501 for a score on the machine in the movie? ::)
Also, how on earth did someone get 120501 for a score on the machine in the movie? ::)Heh, the same way the DVD player got scores ending in 12 or 49, I suppose. Maybe Fix-It Felix, Jr. has a "Cheap Shot" penalty of -99 like Super Smash Bros...?
forest background is now complete. here is a sample of the sprites all piled together so far..

got the two animation sprites for Ralph walking to the stump done.... just got through reviewing the video loop of the attract and noticed i have a bit more sky to complete on the forest background, unfortunately i wont be able to devote all day to sprites like i planned on, but i will try my best guys :embarassed:
Finally finished the final version of the Gameplay Music Loop. I totally understand how Sjaak feels when he turns off the song during testing. It gets very annoying after a while. :lol
You can download it at the mistersinistar sound folder, as usual. :)
I tried my best to find the closest-sounding string sample for the melody. I ended up using SPCTool to extract some string samples from the SNES game, Super Metroid, so they're real 8-bit 16000hz samples. Hope you like the song :)
I'm gonna work on some more sound effects soon.

What's wrong with using the music tracks from the extended awards score that's floating around? Those are definitely the tracks from the movie version.

is the latest update meant to have the screen rounded? i play this on my laptop which is a flat screen and the game looks like it is curved.

That's what I was originally gonna use, but Sjaak pointed out to me that the song in the game is slightly different. The bass comes in later and the string section plays slightly different chords and resolves differently to better loop in-game. Despite these differences, I still used the music from the leaked FYC score as a reference; for example, I sampled the movie track to recreate the arpeggio since the synth that's playing it uses a patch that's a bit more complicated to emulate. I also used srarcade's recordings to make sure I was following exactly what's heard in the arcade version of the song.
The good thing is that the main loop is the only song from the soundtrack that's different in the arcade game. All the attract mode, Felix Intro and Game Win music is exactly the same in the movie, albeit played through a crappy speaker. :lol
One minor thing I forgot to point out, on the Name Entry screen, you can confirm a character by using either the JUMP or FIX button. The beta currently only allows you to confirm using the JUMP button.Speaking of which, did you ever implement a button config option somewhere? Haven't been able to do much testing on my cab due to the mapping of my controls on my ipac4. I've only played on my normal PC.
Also, the movie version is not very playable. There are no birds, no flowerboxes, no pile of bricks. Basically, you just have to wait for a pie and finish the level in 2 seconds. And you only have to fix the ground floor. This is the best answer yet! So the birds and flowerboxes and all that were created for the arcade/online version?
Nice work. I just saw that you added configurable keys in the game.ini file. :-)
Also, was curious: In the second BBB game video I noticed that at 5:26 Felix dies even after fixing the windows and completing the level. What happens in your version? Does the finishing of the level take precedence over him dying? (Similar to the Mr. Do game: If you die and an apple crushes you and the baddie, the game sees that the level is complete and you don't die. (it advances to the next round).

Is it worth trying to have a "movie-mode" in the finished game? Any interest in that at all, or waste of time?
Seems like there is a storm a brewing over there!

I bet you're feeling sleepy now... :applaud:
I think the pie/finish the level super fast thing was moreso a narrative device used to quicken the visuals to match up with the pace of Ralph's speech rather than an actual representation of game play. Sort of a montage, if you will. Also, the movie version is not very playable. There are no birds, no flowerboxes, no pile of bricks. Honestly if i may say? Some of the movie version is ridiculous.
When Felix eats the pie and he goes into Tornado mode and fixes all the windows in 3 seconds?
And what role would Q*bert, Slick and Coily play in the game????
I like the shutters on the windows in the smartphone version,
But they become annoying after awhile.
Just my 2 cents.
Sjaak, I know you have been busy with the software.
But have you made any progress on your cabinet?
It looked great last time we saw it!
Just curious?
All of these sprites that are pouring in are incredible!Actually, having just one attract loop is probably much easier than doing, say, a randomized one, and definitely most likely easier than two or more pre-set ones. A randomized one would require some AI to be written, and multiple pre-set ones would require extra time to sit there writing the code for them. :3
Another minor note for the future in case it hadn't been confirmed, the "demo" gameplay shown in the attract loop is always played out the exact same way. Not sure if it's something that can be programmed without much hassle but I figure it's best to point that out.
I did the other missing ralph sprite too.they look really good, just needs some cleaning up, i will use them as a starting point, i have to make sure that they are scale to everything i've done so far, counting pixels is a pain, but it will be worth all the hard work and thank you
Syldsho -- at least they'll be a starting point.

I know this is probably a silly question this late in the game, but is it intentionally coded in Sjaak's version that if you hold the joystick left or right, Fix it Felix doesn't go all the way across the screen? You have to press left several times or right several times, etc. Same for up and down. I recall in previous versions that all you have to do is hold the joystick in the direction you want to go in.

I don't know how you guys do it, it takes me forever to do a Ralph sprite (even if it's similar to one I already have)I know this is probably a silly question this late in the game, but is it intentionally coded in Sjaak's version that if you hold the joystick left or right, Fix it Felix doesn't go all the way across the screen? There was a discussion a while back (not sure if all of it was in this thread), but that is how the arcade version works. srarcade went over to Disney Quest to confirm this.Another minor note for the future in case it hadn't been confirmed, the "demo" gameplay shown in the attract loop is always played out the exact same way. Yes, I noticed that. Not sure how I'm going to do that, but I will think of something.Sjaak, I know you have been busy with the software.

Not much progress, because I had to build two other cabinets, but I'm resuming work on the Fix It Felix now. I will post some pictures later this week.
those cabinets look awesome! are they for yourself? or do you make and sell them to people?
Something was bothering me about the scale of his leg on the climbing ones, so I gave them a shot and put them in the dropbox. Unfortunately, I realized I screwed up and the"ralphgrowlarmup.png" has the fist from the first part of the climb sequence. The first is more front facing in the "smash and grab gene" sequence. I've got it in layers so I think I can put the right fist in. I should be able to fix the fist and draw the remaining sprites tonight:
(0). Fix the "ralphgrowlarmup.png" to have the front-facing fist.
1. Ralph frowning leaning out fist cocked.
2. Ralph punching window
3. ralph leaning out arm up yelling fist facing front.
4. Ralph leaning out arm down yelling
5. Ralph leaning out frowning looking right holding gene
6. Ralph leaning out frowning facing left holding gene.
7. Ralph throwing.
Sjaak: If I can get them in, how long to implement the rest of the beginning sequence?
sjaak, i just got off work.. fixed the two sprites you made, they weren't that bad. Finally starting on the yawn and sleep sprites now.
as for how i do it...
MS Paint using the Color Sample Tool and the Pencil... zoom as far in as possible and count pixels high x pixels wide... the draw a block.
1.(http://imageshack.us/a/img42/2305/18420014.png)
then counting pixels slowly erase blocks and shape the outer image
2.(http://imageshack.us/a/img842/1715/25351816.png)
then counting pixels add details...
3.(http://img837.imageshack.us/img837/4273/67774513.png)
using the color sample tool to get the same color palate the entire way through
done with yawn and sleep sprites.... everything should be there for the first scene in the attract now.
Whole bunch of new sounds for the game! All the sound effects for the ending are complete. I noticed that the jump sound effect has a very small "beep" before the main sound so I added that. I also redid the Felix drop sound as he moves down a window to match what it sounds ingame.
I'm really proud of how these came out, especially the Ralph yell as he falls off the building. :)
Still working on these. (someone else is too, I keep seeing updates in my folder). Just need the "holding gene" arm, and we're good (some further tweaking is necessary on some of these sprites, but they'll do until we get them perfect.)

Kudos to all of you for your hard work, but special props to Sjaak for not treating this project like it's some top secret cure for a rare disease, but rather embracing the community and it's willingness and desire to help. Such openness is refereshing.I have to agree to that. It's fun to see how people chip in with their own effort. :)
I guess there's that debate over the movie-accurate and "arcade"-accurate versions. Can't it be argued, just for argument's sake, that the movie version is the definitive version? Since the arcade version is based off of the movie ver. I'm sure it's been discussed before, but are there huge differences between the movie and arcade versions?Benjamoose proposed the same thing on the first two pages of this topic. I can see the appeal: Who wouldn't want to have the same experience as a kid at Litwak's Arcade? People aren't asking for cheap corporate-designed games "inspired" by the movie; they want the game exactly as depicted in the movie!
Personally, since I'm a collector of prop replicas and other such nerdy collectibles first, and new to the arcade collectible world, (been wanting to join in forever, finally jumped in with the destroyed popeye cab I got a hold of), I'd prefer a movie-accurate version.
Also, the movie version is not very playable. Basically, you just have to wait for a pie and finish the level in 2 seconds.
When Felix eats the pie and he goes into Tornado mode and fixes all the windows in 3 seconds?People have described this as an "instant win", but I've rationalized it as a combination of the rapid movement from the Flash version with the rapid fixing from the smartphone version, which the player took advantage of with very quick hands. The "super-shine" effect on the windows is interesting, though; is it just for show, or could it mean that, say, those windows can't be re-broken for another second or two? Not only does each window get the shine as it's fixed by Super Felix, but upon fixing the last window, all the windows that were fixed as Felix shine one more time. Another shine effect goes up all the windows in the "Ralph is missing" scene just to show Felix that none of them are broken.
The good thing is that the main loop is the only song from the soundtrack that's different in the arcade game. All the attract mode, Felix Intro and Game Win music is exactly the same in the movie, albeit played through a crappy speaker. :lolHuh? That's not quite true. The Felix intro was missing the E-flat & G chord hit, and the final Level Complete jingle seems to have been cut altogether, and I still don't know why! ??? The missing notes aren't hard to figure out, though.
There are no birds, no flowerboxes, no pile of bricks. And you only have to fix the ground floor.Well, it is only the first level. All the obstacles and other complications aren't supposed to come until later! The movie has bricks break the windows awfully frequently for the first level, too. And maybe the movie simply cut past the second screen... though I see the score didn't change, so probably not. It could just be an attract mode, though, like how the real game's attract mode only demos one screen, except the movie's demo goes on to show the win scene, watched by children with very little pocket money. ;D And come to think of it, if it's the attract mode, then that explains why every frame from the time-lapse pull-back scene is from that same game-play session. That whole sequence of game-play events was in place long before the actual game was made, as there were once unplayable cabinets which showed loops of the same things happening, only in an older art style or with some shots missing or out of sequence, so it was probably always designed to show off the intended play style and have Ralph comment on his life over it. I don't know why the "Level 1 Complete" sign blinked and lingered so long unless it was some kind of prompt to press a button to continue, though, or how Felix would be expected to fill in the huge gap in the building behind Ralph if that was indeed in the game. (Maybe it works a little like Wreck-It Rumble, where you build ledges before you can stand on them?) But hey, I also can't explain how the Street Fighter 1 cabinet contained Street Fighter 2. :-\
And what role would Q*bert, Slick and Coily play in the game????Well, apparently the baddies take over the wrecking, while Q*Bert gives Felix a ride. I don't know what all that does for him, though I did see them clear two window lengths in a single jump. And if Felix had to jump to reach windows before, then maybe he doesn't have to now?
As for Q*bert, Slick, Coily, etc, it seems that Q*bert basically functions the way Yoshi does for Mario (except with possibly a different ability rather than eating enemies; doesn't he fire something from his snout in the cartoons? Maybe he can fire at the baddies. Perhaps hitting them would stun them for a bit, or "kill" them).Funnily enough, I've read that Q*Bert was originally given the snout to be able to fire projectiles at his enemies, but then his creators simplified the game to where Q*Bert couldn't fight back, yet they left the nose on, because... it makes him unique, I guess?
I think the decision to keep it "arcade" accurate is for a couple reasons. The main reason I agree it should be kept to arcade version, not movie version, is the fictional timeline here. In Disney's fake timeline for it, the arcade came out first in 1982 and this movie in 2012 is just based off the arcade. So in that regard, the arcade they made (even though it wasn't actually made back in '82) is older than the movie and therefor more accurate.Ahah! If that were true, that really would make it akin to recreating that special arcade version of Wild Gunman where you face 4 outlaws at once, all scaled onto different planes, with extra vocalizations and extra animation for the sombrero where it rotates smoothly. Succeeding at it produces a "CRACK SHOT !!!" award I've never seen in the NES game, but with no status bars above or below to record any of this.
So, the movie made in 2012 is of course going to get some of the details wrong from the original 1982 arcade and that's why there's differences between the two.
done with scene 2 background of the attract sequence
Status update: I finished all of the sprites with ralph in the dump. I'm not thrilled with the "looking surprised and yelling about the stump" sprites. They're half-assed. The "Swinging arms / pissed off" sprites are good. We can use them, they're complete. but the 3 previous sprites suck. I unfortunately have to call it a night earlier than expected tonight.
@Slydsho: If you can take my "surprised" sprites and fix them up, we should be done with sprites.
--- EDIT ---- maybe not. Still need crane + cloud (erecting the building) sprites too... ALMOST there...
@BagOfMagicFood. WOW.
-----------------------------------------------------------
OK I'm going to stay out of this whole argument with the movie vs. arcade version. We're creating the arcade version.
Nice job, I'll start working on the attract sequence when the start sequence is done (almost done).
I've been working on the start and roof sequence. I redid the whole roof sequence, because the flash version was completely different. Here is my progress so far. Still a couple of small things, but almost there. I'm using the recreated sounds by mrsinistar :notworthy:
Comp 3_2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9tQvBu-M4U#)
Hmm, but if we're going with the timeline where the game was real in 1982 but the movie didn't really happen, then doesn't that mean we need to make Garlan Hulse's and Kent Zborski's scores attainable? Or is this the universe where you can buy a real Fix-It Hammer that really works? :lol
The odd thing is that you can see a whole four stories going up before the next ledge, and then there are two more stories of regular rooms before the penthouse. This seems to indicate that you were never meant to play with the penthouse in view--not only is it awkward for Ralph to step over that balcony time after time, but that would have frequently given him a view of another game that could have short-circuited a large part of the plot of the movie!
@SJAAK: :notworthy:
;D ;D ;D
I went back and fixed my horrible "you moved my stump" sprites.
I can't put my finger on what i don't like about them. They're REALLY close, but the 3 "youmovedmystump(yell/surprised/growl).png" sprites still seem off somehow. Too cartoony maybe? I went back and looked at the movie and I can't put my finger on it. The tweaks I made are leaps and bounds better then the garbage I had yesterday, but there's still something off about them. Maybe those sprites are just wierd in general in the game.
*shrug*. For now plug them in. Maybe they'll look right in context. If not, we'll see what we can do to tweak them.
pixel for pixel, they are perfect to the attract
EDIT** all sprites for scene two now in Scene 2 folder
Crane is done. I went pixel for pixel.
Maybe the red is too much.
Crane is done. I went pixel for pixel.looks great! i removed the exhaust pipe, because from what i can find, it doesn't have one. See Here (http://i2.wp.com/screencaps.us/201/2-wreck-it-ralph/full/wreck-it-ralph-disneyscreencaps.com-46.jpg)
WHen I was done I said "Ugh, it looks so jagged and like it was just tacked onto the bulldozer"
Then I looked at the video again, and that's EXACTLY what it is. :dunno
***Edit***. Maybe the red is too much. Feel free to change that color to whatever else works in the normal palette.
Crane is done. I went pixel for pixel.Yeah, I was gonna say, it looks as if they used a larger pixel size for the stripe going around the crane arms, like a Commodore 64 graphic or something. And honestly, I thought the bulldozer details were only in two shades of gray, but then, small amounts of red are what I'm colorblindest to.

I'm really digging all of this detailed discussion on the arcade vs. movie versions of the game. Fun stuff.
And i wouldn't want my PAC-MAN to have a Restroom section in the game.I'm more concerned by the fact that they use magic portals to connect the wraparound tunnel. I feel that a tube arcing around the back would have done the job. Maybe it's a boom tube?
Clearly, Litwack's running bootlegs in his place.
back to the task at hand, has anyone attempted the cloud of dust during the building construction scene of the attract?

Attempted.. It looks like it's the same cloud repeated 4 times. The large cloud and small cloud have the same markings.
I gave it a shot, both files are there, but I'm not 100% satisfied. I think they need to be cleaned up a little, but that should get us 80% of the way there.
They're in the crane and bulldozer folder.

yup same here - is there an introduce yourself section on here? :)
No. The values in the INI are for mapping to keyboard keys using the standard .NET Keys enum.
I added a file called --IMPORTANT--ValidKeyValues.csv in the Update Mar 26 folder that lists the valid values.
The string values are also available here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.windows.forms.keys.aspx (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.windows.forms.keys.aspx)
Note: Capitalization matters. Even for letters. (All individual letters 'E', 'X', etc should be specified in upper case).
So with the addition of configurable keymapping in the .ini file does that mean we can map to a joystick, or is that just for keyboard mappings? In other words, can I map Button1 of my joystick from within the .ini file? If so, what are the standard labels in XP for those mappings?
Sometimes I wish Disney hadn't shown off so many slightly different renditions of the cabinet
Still, why didn't they use the final color scheme for Fix-It Felix, Jr. in the movie?
I can run on laptop fine but when trying to put in cabinet which runs HS just fine I get the following message even after installing all required dx9.0, etc. files.
No suitable graphics card found could not fin a direct 3D device that supports the xna framework Reach profile. Verify that a suitable graphics device is installed make sure the desktop is not locked, and that no other application is running in full screen mode. Avoid running under remote desktop or as a windows service. Check the display properties to make sure hardware acceleration is set to full.
So has anyone else run into this? Do I really NEED a new graphics card or something?
Thanks
Tried to run windowed and got same error message, the computer is an older P4 with onboard intel video, but I figure if it can run HS with no problems it should handle FIF right? If I try to find cheap graphics card do they list whether or not they support xna?
thanks for the recognition, but i got to hand it to Sjaak.. :applaud:
just ran the game real quick during my lunch break, everything is coming together. it seems to play beautifully, all the sounds are amazing, the sprites look great, the animations are spot on. the "team" we got working on this is amazing, thank you guys for the hard work so far.
The sound amp is from a Kinyo PA-116, so if you want the same audio amp that's in the FIFJr arcade machines, grab those speakers and you should be golden.
Crap. I have the 115B model. Wonder if it's the same amp. I was planning on putting these into a barcade.

I pulled up a picture of one and it looks like the same button layout as the 116 except there's a headphone output. Since the button layout and LED placement seems to be the same as the 116, I would assume they have the same amp. :)
Ok, thanks. That makes perfect sense and I was just wishful thinking on that one. I am using Joy2Key with great success but I have a few issues with Joy2Key and Hyperspin/Mame so it is screwing with the rest of my setup.No. The values in the INI are for mapping to keyboard keys using the standard .NET Keys enum.

Joystick support will be added when I start on the configuration screen. Why, you ask? Because every brand of joystick is identified by the system with a different name and then you have digital sticks (like a gamepad) and analog sticks and 10 different buttons. So it's not as easy as saying Up=JoyUp in the ini file. It's more likely something like Up=GamePad1.Thumbstick.Up which isn't very user friendly.
For now, Joy2Key (http://www.electracode.com/4/joy2key/JoyToKey%20English%20Version.htm) is a good alternative.
Anyone try their hand at a hyperspin theme yet? I tried making one but was not really pleased because most of my graphics were from movie scenes. I noticed someone mentioned that they were working on one once in the hyperspin forum but then I haven't seen mention of it again.
At work so I cant check the drop box, but im sure the sprites look perfect. As for a Hyperspin theme, I can build one quick when I get home. Ill keep you guys posted. You're like a machine. Awesome :afro: .
Just found this thread from mike boss on the forum. I'll stick it in the dropbox folder.

I wouldn't be so sure. I hear button presses, as if the guy was hitting "Jump" to move up. You should only need to push up. May have been a user issue.

I second the idea of a 4:3 version. Do you have all the original files, maybe I can take a stab at making one? I made a couple of themes on the old theme creator but then was using a newer version and I couldn't figure out how to export it right. Maybe I'll try and look at it again this weekend.sample....

The biggest difference between BBB version and Sjaaks is the there is a community providing input and review to Sjaak while BBB seems to be a solo project. So I firmly believe in Sjaaks version over his.

he did the entire game by himself for several months as a challenge to himself, i think its a fantastic rendition of the game even if its buggy. i just think we should stop comparing the two and not start any kind of potential drama.
I was watching the No Quarter video again.
So here is the J-PAC that's inside the original machine.
You can use a JAMMA harness and a Authentic arcade monitor with it.

Not a bad price either. $59.00
This is probably the Joystick they used or close to it.
I actually have it in my DK and Felix Mini.
It works great !

So now we know the Amp,Computer and Controller.
I would like to know the Monitor Brand?
I might go the LCD route myself as well. I guess it all bubbles down to how I actually go about the cabinet. If I use a beat Nintendo cab, I'll use the original CRT, but if I build it myself, I'm positive I'll use a newer monitor.
So i was curious about the Sanyo EZ Monitor (Disney using it?)
I couldn't remember if the Monitor used a isolation transformer or not?
Because the NO QUARTER video of the real cabinet, There is no room in the bottom of the cabinet.
For a isolation transformer With all the stuff in it, Computer etc...
So i opened up my POPEYE for a look.
To my surprise No isolation transformer.
It plugs straight in. So Disney could have used the SANYO if they wanted too?
Here's some pics.

I'm wondering the same thing, IF Disney used EZ 20's, what do you think they used to get the color inversion correct from the HP to the monitor? I purchased this color inverter from Mike's Arcade, but now I'm thinking this isn't going to do what I want it to: http://www.mikesarcade.com/cgi-bin/store.pl?sku=NININVAMP (http://www.mikesarcade.com/cgi-bin/store.pl?sku=NININVAMP). Any advice?
I thought it was determined that Disney used LCDs in the cabs.
So now that the real game (albeit a beta version) has been leaked, what's the next plan of action?
I really wanna continue working on this project to make it better than the currently leaked beta game. Add a options/ test screen menu ala BBB's version, add the missing High Score jingle that the leaked game doesn't have, etc. What do you think, Sjaak?

I will continue working on the game, using this version as a guideline.
I will probably replace some of the sprites (after color correcting them), but it's amazing to see how close the sprites from slydsho and nipmsg are to the actual game sprites. And I really don't like the color of the bulldozers on the real game.
And maybe i will replace 1 or 2 sounds, but the effects from mrsinistar sound so much better...and of course some of the sounds are missing in the real game (high score entry and player switch)
(http://www.xs4all.nl/~hansolo1/wir/diff.jpg)I haven't had the luxury of trying your version to compare sounds and game play with, but I agree with you on the bulldozer sprite in that slydsho and nipmsg made it look nicer, colour-wise.

I HATED the arcade version's sprite colors at first, then I realized why they were that way (and why the clouds are purple in the attract sequence). Everything in that scene is supposed to be colored as it would be after dusk. The clouds have a purplish hue, and everything is as you would see it if it were late at night. The only problem is, the stump and Ralph are lit as if it's full blown daylight, so it doesn't really work. (I do like the "dusky" clouds and trees in the attract however"). *shrug*
maybe someone else has had a different experience but the leaked game plays on my Windows 7 machine fine but I can't get it to work on XP.

I figured it out on my own.
It only seems to work with Windows 7.
I have tried it on Windows 8 and it goes in slow motion.
XP SP3 it doesn't work at all.
Even more of a reason for Sjaak to finish his version.
Funny, I have the opposite problem. The game's horribly slow on my Windows 7 laptop, which has very limited RAM since I'm a resource hog, lol. But it works fine on my Mom's new Windows 8 laptop. I'm thinking it's a RAM issue, since the machines I played at DisneyQuest were slow in some parts but they later fixed that by adding RAM, which is what one of the operators told me.

Here's my Specs on the Windows 8 Laptop
I believe i have enough Ram.
So what gives?
Does it have something to do with a 64 or 32 bit version of Windows?
RAM seems to be good, but 1.20 GHz is pretty slow for a newer processor, you may wanna upgrade that or find a computer that has a faster processor...my brother's laptop has a 2.00 GHz and my mom's laptop is 2.70 Ghz. It works on your 7 machine because it has a 2.30 GHz CPU
Now this is what happens with XP.
2.60 GHZ P4 512MB RAM
Granted the RAM is low i know.
Hmmm that's error is weird. Maybe it's not grabbing enough RAM needed to initialize or something. It was grabbing at least 50,000 Kb of memory when it was running on my computer so, it's definitely a resource hog. In fact, I think the game doesn't even use DirectX to help handle the graphics.
I just played a bit with task manager pulled up. It was using around 57% of my CPU on average, though that did vary from the low 50's to 60% throughout play. It started with like 69,000 Kb Memory, but about the time I beat the first level, it jumped up to 118,000 Kb of my memory (memory usage rounded up to the nearest thousand).Hmmm that's error is weird. It would be nice just for fun"
To find out a baseline on this to run it?

Hmmmmm. It comes with XP.
Just because it comes with XP doesn't mean they couldn't have formatted it to Vista or 7 very easily.Wasn't there a booting photo/screencap somewhere that confirms it was XP though?
And man I just checked, it really does eat up CPU. On my Intel i3 computer with 3.2ghz it was almost completely using one of the cores.

I'm so glad to hear it, I feel like this is ours, we(and by we I mean you guys who actually did the work) built it and it's just a little bit better and we can make it more BYOAC/Cab friendly :applaud: :applaud:

I don't know how running Windows Update is a pain, but I'm glad you got it working; it's usually a matter of .NET frameworks and run-times being updated.
Anyone have a Guess?Could it have something to do with the video hardware? I tried it on 3 computers:
I HATED the arcade version's sprite colors at first, then I realized why they were that way (and why the clouds are purple in the attract sequence). Everything in that scene is supposed to be colored as it would be after dusk. The clouds have a purplish hue, and everything is as you would see it if it were late at night. (I do like the "dusky" clouds and trees in the attract however"). *shrug*Hmm, I figured it was a specialized palette designed to look correct on a certain kind of monitor. The black-haired Nicelanders now have purple hair, for goodness' sake! But wow, they really did make the inside of the medal darker on Felix, I wasn't just seeing things.
I really wanna continue working on this project to make it better than the currently leaked beta game. Add a options/ test screen menu ala BBB's version, add the missing High Score jingle that the leaked game doesn't have, etc.Sure, it'd be a nice idea to add some options for a "deluxe" version, like missing elements from the movie, or features from the home versions that made them more interesting. Now I'm sure that to make Felix move the way he does in the movie would take a complete re-imagining of the code, so I can understand if nobody wants to do that, but it's fun to imagine. :) (Edit: Well now I'm seeing that some people are making clones of the game for old consoles like Atari 2600, Nintendo Entertainment System, and Sega Genesis, where Felix might be more free-roaming in some of those anyway, so they might be fun to check out too.)
I agree with the sound on the leaked beta, kinda sucky.Yeah, the compression sounds nearly as bad as the online version--maybe it uses the same files even! It is funny how the "bonk" for Felix hitting his head on overhangs is a subtly different "bonk" from when bricks bounce off him, and that there's a file for the entire sequence of timer beeps for Super Felix instead of just one beep repeated by the program. You may be interested to know I also found a leak of a more complete version of the movie soundtrack, where the game music sounds much cleaner. With that you have not only a better rip of the attract mode music, but also the "You fixed it!" music, though the game-play music is that strange extended-but-truncated version that will need to be recreated.
I posted about this in the issue folder, but this picture gives you a better idea of what I'm talking about.
In my cab felix now almost always hits his hammer (April 12 2nd release) when I press the jump button (have it mapped to RightAlt in the ini file) this did not happen in an earlier build
Up=Up
Down=Down
Left=Left
Right=Right
Fix=LeftControl
Jump=RightAlt
Coin=D5
Player1=D1
The left alt key is the Alt Gr key. It might be that I need to call it AltGr in the ini file? Tried to call it RMenu as stated in the keymapping csv file but that did not work. I have tested with other April builds on my cab and laptop with the same result. Keyboard is Swedish and the laptop runs Win 7 64bit and the cab Win XP 32bit.
Not to get us off-topic but it appears the FixItFelixJrBeta dropbox folder is counted against my 2 GB limit. Anyone know if there is a way to tell Dropbox not to sync specific sub-folders? I don't need the "Fakeumentary" syncing locally for example.
I think that allows you to not sync certains files and folders to your physical hard drive but I haven't seen a way to not include sub-folders in a shared folder as part of your personal upload limit. Sjaak could make two separate shared folders, one with assets and the other without but I would just vote on keeping some of that huge stuff out of there, (fakeumentary, bitbybit). I just check though and I'm at 2.8/4.8Gb on my account so I don't really mind too much right now. Feature request: Allow Windows Power Manager to turn off screen.
When playing full screen Windows Power Management is disabled and thus the screen won’t turn off according to the” Turn Off Monitor” Power Setting.
I use the “Turn Off Monitor” feature to prevent burn in when using MAME on my cabinet.
Could you please add a game.ini option to allow the Power Management to turn off the screen if it is set to do so?
Guide on Monitor power managerment (http://"http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/12794/Complete-Guide-on-How-To-Turn-A-Monitor-On-Off-Sta") in C#.
To be honest, -if it's just to prevent burn in, it would be way simpeler to add a screensaver timer and have the Draw loop just clear the graphicbuffer with black.
Just played it and this is also possible in the original version (using 'jump' and not 'up')Yep, in the official version it's fun to alternate between Up and Jump to get different behaviors out of Felix below the same overhang. The Jump button can be dangerous in this respect because while it allows him up though those overhangs, it doesn't protect him from brick piles on the next floor up. It was interesting to learn just how the controls worked, especially the fact that the purpose of the Jump button is to land on the center of the next windowsill, which leaves Felix safe from brick piles on both sides and gets him across the screen a little faster, and which must be pressed after beginning to walk but before the auto-hop, or Felix will jump up and then walk to the next window due to the annoying input buffering. You probably wouldn't even want total jump control as the movie suggests, just as allowing Felix to run past the edge of the building where Ralph couldn't reach him would make it too easy. I was also a little surprised to learn that every push of the joystick includes an auto-hop to the next windowsill; there is no running and stopping on a different part of the same window unless it's at the edge of the building. Though you can turn Felix around after he's started running and before the auto-hop, this also leads to some buffering weirdness where he steps two windows away instead of one. One more trick I learned from this is that pushing Left and Right very quickly against the right edge of the building makes Felix turn back to the left without performing any more actions.
While I want to just emulate the promotional arcade game as is, I understand people will still want the movie voice clips, so I went ahead and uploaded "realistic" Ralph and Felix voice over clips, if played on arcade hardware. I went ahead and used Famitracker to convert the voice over clips into 4-bit DPCM NES samples so it's accurate to voice technology circa 1985, lol. As long as it sounds a lot like Sinistar, it's close enough for me, lol.Haha, cool. I did my own thing and mixed "high-quality" versions here (https://www.box.com/s/75h6c8gzi5ur8aawm1sb) and here (https://www.box.com/s/hx2n3vc8bhpqpno1rxvq) just to try in the arcade game.
In other news,
Here's what's in the packet attached to the back of the Real Fix-it-Felix Jr. Machines.
Enjoy.
HOLY CRAP, THANKS!! Where did you get this?! When I looked at the back of the machines at DisneyQuest, they just had the sleeve to hold it. It had some lettering on sleeve itself with a "REV F" at the very end. I took a pic of it that I'll upload soon.

Actually off some guys Blog/Website
He claims the owner of the 2nd machine that was for sale, Scanned them for him.
When he asked about the inside of the machine.
But he had Red Lines/Arrows pointing at stuff and Text he photoshopped all over them.
I cleaned it all up.
Maybe the REV F you saw on the packet? Means Revision F ?
That's what I'm thinking. I uploaded the image and it says "171604 REV. 9/05 FD". I'm thinking they finished the games around September 5. 171604 maybe either the serial number or the codename for the game, I would assume.
Dafuq? How'd they get a Sanyo EZ to connect to a PC without a modified isolation transformer? Think they used the video inverter for the colors? They'd have needed to convert the power to 12v somehow too. Hrmmmm...That's what I'm thinking. I uploaded the image and it says "171604 REV. 9/05 FD". Yes, Looks like a Date and Serial to me?
Also, On the sheets i uploaded, That one cab does have the Original Sanyo EZ monitor in it.
And in the bottom is the original isolation transformer and outlet plug for the Monitor.
But the other cab has a totally different Monitor in it.
That would not need the Isolation Transformer.

Does anybody know what happens at the end of a two player game, after player 1 loses his last live, but has a high score? Do you get the high score entry screen and after that, player 2 continues?I just tried this in the leaked beta, and when I lost all Player 1 lives, it gave the usual "Player 1 Game Over, Player 2 Ready" or whatever screen and continued with Player 2, then once Player 2 died, it first let me put in the initials for Player 1, then let me put in the initials for Player 2. I don't have access to a proper cabinet though so I don't know if they changed it for the finalized version.

True, this is how it worked for me in the beta too, but you're right that it could have been changed when they fixed the high score field up top to accept Player 1's scores and added the two jingles. (Surprising, though, that all the flaws in the graphics I've found so far appear to still be in the final build from what I can make out in videos of the official cabinets, so this is why I was thinking they didn't have time for a final graphics update, ran into a palette limitation with their game maker, or something along those lines.)Does anybody know what happens at the end of a two player game, after player 1 loses his last live, but has a high score? ...First things first; it should be easy so that bugs can be found and edge cases detected. Difficulty implementation should come later, I think.
Would it be possible to include the option of making the game harder at all? I know it was not meant to be super challenging, but even with Popeye you had to get a minimum of 40,000 points to get an extra life. For some of my cocky-er co-workers, the game is just too easy. Thoughts?
Yeah, these things happen much faster in the official arcade version, unless what you're saying is that these are what you're going to change the game to do optionally. The brick piles always fall down very early on, and I don't believe it's ever taken a whole minute for a pie to appear, though I never see more than one pie per level, and the likelihood of a pie appearing may depend on the floor: I've found it's very rare to receive a pie on the bottom screen, for instance. Did you still need more documentation on the exact numbers of each kind of obstacle per level?
- Pies appear every 60 to 80 seconds, independent of level
- Every minute or so, a pile of bricks falls down, after level 3, and never more than 3 per level
Got to level 39 today, was bummed I didn't get a kill screen, it just froze the game. Is that disabled on the latest version? I thought there was a feature to hit the "R" key and you could activate it.
It may have been discussed earlier, but in the phone version, each half-window requires it's own press of the Fix button.True, though the fixing appears to happen a lot faster, and Felix even seems to be able to swing his hammer down during a jump. The sound effect for the pressing of the hammer button itself would have been a good idea if it had been the "bonk" from the movie. But a funny thing I noticed about the first phone version was that fixing only half a window doesn't provide any points, so it matches up with the arcade version in that finishing each window is what provides the 100. It was also a little more accurate in that Felix jumped to the nearer edge of the next windowsill, but then they changed it so that Felix always lands right of center. The first version even had those little planted bush/tree things at the base of the building, which are missing from the arcade version, and in a more movie-accurate palette than the browser version, so go figure; I'm just grateful that someone ripped those graphics for us.
Did you notice at two players either player 1 or player 2 when dead we reset back to the original players position witout starting a new level? Is it my settings?
Are there plans for a cocktail flipping mode?
If not I'll fiddle with an AHK script based on the TRON in game switch so that when it is P2's turn the screen flips, P1 controls lock out, and P2 controls map as P1's. Messy tho. Way better to have a native functionality.
riddic's version
^ Hope I didn't say something wrong. Yes over at Klov riddic had giving a version of the game a while back that a group has also been working on. I will post the link of the topic in a few minutes.Yeah, that is the disney version
Dirt cheap dk machine shells, lol, even if someone finds one at a descent price, shipping or the trip to get it is still $$$Well, my boss is always looking for more contracts, so if you can provide accurate plans (I heard the Jakobud ones are a little off???), he could make that happen. I'm not sure what he'd charge, though. But if you want to e-mail him to ask for a quote, shoot me a PM.
However, if someone here knows of a flat pack cnc'd Nintendo cab, please post here.
I already have an original, but I need another ;)
Thanks guys!
Found a special bug or miss on my end on update may 17
When player one is dead the screen goes in cocktail mode without the option activated in the file.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks
ThAnks z-kun, I'll see if I can find better plans!I heard somewhere that the measurements in this thread are better than the Jakobud measurements (and because you have a Nintendo cab already, it'd be possible to obtain measurements from that): http://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?PHPSESSID=d40d5dbf78191b9aa8fc0b3447cfae46&topic=783.0 (http://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?PHPSESSID=d40d5dbf78191b9aa8fc0b3447cfae46&topic=783.0)
Your version is really great!
Sjaak , a few questions/ requests
I really like having the (good) voice overs in the audio... Specifically "I'm gonna wreck it" "I can fix it" and " fix it felix!"
Can/ will there be an option to have them?
I really hope you put them in :)
Thanks , Ben
I wanted to point out this sale I will keep my FIFjr arcade for life because all the family plays the game together and we are all on the build project it is one of our first creation using the entire family.

I am suprised of the price it is pretty cheap considering my cost on the project I woul be at cost selling for this price. The unit must not be in the same condition that I want it.

4000 canadian dollars :dizzy: Thats $3900 us dollars. I wouldn't call that cheap. Unless is an actual Disney cabinet, but I don't think it is...
Good, lord! :lol
Hey, Sjaak. How many PMs have you gotten from folks asking for a copy of the game, if you don't mind my asking? Ball park it.
I don't understand why Disney didn't release this to the masses anyways. Not saying they should "give" it away, but offer it up in some buyable format :embarassed:
Just touching base to see if there has been any progress with Joystick mapping? I have been trying to get my apac to work with no luck.
Could someone post config settings if they have been able to use a joystick or gamepad?
Hats off again to Sjaak! Awesome job! This is the first weekend in over a month that I have had time to update and play my cab. I did catch one issue in 2 player mode that I thought may have been addressed earlier in the thread. I am running a vertical monitor and have the .ini set to flip=false, cocktail=false but still the 2nd player screen inverts. (upside down). Also, how do you turn the screensaver to off?
Thanks again

Have a joystick Question, I looked and couldn't find the answer, so here goes..
1. I control several of my arcades with xbox360 fightsticks (that I've torn apart and use the boards and different buttons with instead of using ipac's) , the pc sees it as xbox 360 madcatz fight stick, how do I enable joystick play and have a button to close the game also.
2. I looked in the config file, and see a place for joystick, but I need to know the button codes it recognizes.
or do I need to use xpadder for this game, so far it will be the only game I will have to use it for on my new FIFjr machine, so I'm trying to avoid using xpadder or joytokey if possible :)
any help is greatly appreciated!
I've been running the leaked Disney Codemystics version in my dedicated FiFJr cabinet. I know the high scores are broken on that version but what else does Sjaak's version "fix" over the Codemystics version out there? Just more customizable through DIP settings?
* Very cool screensaverVery true, my kids love the screensaver (since we use cocktail table as coffee table, having running FIFjr in the background is pure win).
Yeah, I figured I'd get that kind of a reply.
Sjaak, great work! one small request maybe? is there some way we can add the voices at the beginning by option? "Im gonna wreck it" "Fix it felix" and "I can fix it" ?
I think it really sets the game off!
I found a solution to my problem. It's round-about and clunky but seems to work. I used EventGhost simply to auto-start FIFJr. I selected the option to run at startup and minimize to the system tray. I then used InstantSheller to start EventGhost as the shell.
Like I said, it's clunky but works. If anyone has any better ideas, please let me know.
A have a few questions.
My monitor is 27" and displays at 1024X768, what would be the correct value to add to the game.ini in order to run full screen?
Width=1024
Height=768
^?
Also having some graphic glitches, I do not see the people throw Ralph off the hotel but I do see him hit the ground. I made the window 480X480 just to make sure nothing was getting cut off if I had the above resolutions wrong. I also don't see where Felix says "I can fix it!" right before the start of the game, only a black screen.
Also Sjaak. I was giving it some thought. I know most everyone is using this program on a PC. Have you given any thought to porting it to a ROM so that it could be installed to a PCB? Sorry for my off-key lingo. I'm more of a hardware guy. My feeble brain has a hard time keeping up with software terminology. :D
Apparantly it has something to do with this update from july 9th:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/security/bulletin/ms13-057 (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/security/bulletin/ms13-057)
Can anyone confirm that this update was installed and maybe do a rollback?

Hi, I've sent a PM but with no response, would love to get access so I can put this on the kids machine.

Sorry Baker but I believe you're too late. I think sjaak stop distributing his version a while back.
(see pg 10 from this thread).
His projects are always amazing.
The sound amp is from a Kinyo PA-116, so if you want the same audio amp that's in the FIFJr arcade machines, grab those speakers and you should be golden.
Sweet.
I will swing by my store tomorrow and pick up a few of these.
Thanks for the info!
I picked up the last 2 they had!
So now we have the actual amp.
But what kind of speaker is that?
Does'nt look like a Nintendo Speaker.
I hear ya.. I pm'd him too awhile back... but, Just figured that since I'm *new* to the board my chances would be slim.
Was hoping to get it going in my cab for my little girl who watches the movie 24-7.
I'm sure Sjaak has been swamped in the past with requests. The ipad version just doesn't cut it in the icade.
~String.
I've skimmed the thread but it is far too long to read it entirely. If I'm repeating any questions, I apologize. Perhaps a FAQ in the first post would be a good idea.
Q2: Is this going to be available to the community?
This is a community project. A lot of members helped with the beta testing, bug fixing, graphics creation, sound/music creation and some of them even went to Disney Quest to get footage and sound recordings from the original game. For obvious reasons, there is no download link.
I'm not following the logic here. Disney will never allow you to profit from your work, so the options are to keep it locked up or give it away free. Why would you not want to give back to the community? I suppose it's possible that you would have built the cab and made the game without BYOAC and the few other communities like this one, but I would have to say it would be unlikely.
Just one guys opinion, but what I see is a person who can't profit so he's saying "screw you all, I'll keep it for myself" even though it's not the communities fault that you can't sell it.

I have a question about configuring a joystick. I have a 28-button GP-Wiz and when I open the confg editor, I only get (A,B,X,Y,Rightshoulder,Leftshoulder, start, and back) as choices. These seem to map to buttons 1-8 automatically. Is there a way to bind the rest of my joystick buttons? If not, I imagine I can try to make an autohotkey script as a workaround.
Is anyone aware of a Cocktail Table version of Fix-It Felix Jr? I'm interested in building one.

Im afraid its to late to on hopeing getting a copy of this version of fix it felix jr.
I was considering doing a project like this for my daughter.
Does it make sense with Fix it Felix Jr today? I mean, is it at all possible to get this game anymore, and maybe also add it to the MAME menu in HyperSpin?
The Sjaak version seems great with HLSL support etc.
But are Disney really out after simple builds like these? I’d consider it nothing but a tribute to the movie.
Hey folks! Just wondering if it would be possible to get a copy of this for MAME. Looks amazing. Keep up the good work!
