Title: Ultimarc Spintrak spinner question
Post by: Scooby on April 13, 2019, 01:34:36 am
Hi guys,
I want to use two Spintrak spinners at the same time. I have difficulties to set one of them to use the „Y“ axis. By default the small USB Interface is set to the „X“ axis. I have a I-PAC2 encoder as well. But it uses the „X“ axis as well and I can‘t find any settings in the WinIPAC tool to change it.
Can someone please give me a hint?

If you aren't using the trackball pins on the I-Pac, pull the Yellow, Green, and White SpinTrak connector pins from the Dupont housing and change the wire order to "Brown-Yellow-Green-White" to use the I-Pac trackball Y-axis pins.

Default SpinTrak Dupont housing wire order: (left)

SpinTrak wire colors:

Brown    +5 Volts
Yellow    X1
Green    X2
White    GND

Also, in MAME the axis of each device can be reversed in analog settings.
