I don't document all my projects. I did a lot of commissioned work, or work I sold for profit. Here is a quick run down of some of those projects:
This was a shell I purchased on Craigslist. It was painted black, gutted, and needed everything. It lived life previously as a Robotron. Sold for $850 in 2007

This was a free nintendo cabinet that didn't work. It was previously a Top Gun. I sold it for $850 in 2007.

I missed having a Donkey Kong so I built another one from a gutted cabinet.
I kept it for a few years and sold it for $800 in 2015

This was previously a Rally-X. It was gutted. I converted it to a generic machine and sold it for $800 in 2006

Pong Clock that provides a history of Pong and the score is the time. Pretty neat little thing, but it only lasted for a few weeks before the computer died in it. Never did anything with it.

Built this from a Golden Tee Shell. It was a pretty fast conversion so that I could sell it around Christmas in 2014. Sold for $800

Built this from a gutted Space Invaders cabinet. Sold for $850.

Built this for my personal collection. I call it the Omega arcade because it's supposed to be the last arcade game I made. I did end up making a few more cabinets, but nothing this grand.

Not pictured:
Star Wars, MKII, 2xGalaga, Nephews Cabinet, and haruman customs builds

Good projects lew. Followed a lot of these when they were being built. The Tempest Bar-Top is my favourite.

Took a head count the other day and realised we've now created over 200 custom orders since we began, not counting side projects and other things. It's nice to look back at how your skills evolve.

You bumped my 5 year old thread? heh, funny. I use this thread just to link to my profile. It was never really meant to have a conversation in.

Anyhow... I don't sell the widowmaker bartop plans primarily because there are no plans. I cut a piece of wood early on to be a Galaga style bartop, and then I edited it (i.e. free hand) drew the profile that I used on my defender cabinet. I modified it slightly, and used that for Widowmaker.

There is nothing wrong with planning, but I find jumping in and solving problems along the way works best for me.

I realize I'm really late to the party with MAME and building cabinets (and that replying to this raised an aged thread warning box!) but I stumbled onto this looking for inspiration for a bartop build and just wanted to say-

wow!
Bummed that the thread is so old that only a few of the last pics are still alive (and curious to know what the missing ones look like too.)

If anyone sees this and can comment on where to source graphics THAT good for custom dimension builds then please reply!

Aloha,
Bobby

Over the years, I used a variety of different hosting methods before storing the pics on this forum. I just recently reviewed this post and was surprised at what pics are gone. I'll try to update it, but if you wanted to see any specific pics, let me know.

As for sourcing graphics, you can use quite a few different sites. Maybe check out these:
www.coinopart.com (http://www.coinopart.com)
vectorlib.free.fr (http://vectorlib.free.fr)
There is some talented artists on this forum, and they can probably provide you more info. Anytime I've had to create artwork, I'm a bit of a hack, but I can usually do good enough for my needs.
