Title: Wells-gardner chassis identification
Post by: elcheapouno on February 05, 2018, 07:23:12 pm
Hello everybody, new to The Forum.
I picked up a Wells Gardner frame with chassis, no monitor. The monitor frame has the wells-gardner model number and the serial number, but the serial number doesn't match the serial number on the chassis. Hoping somebody can Iidentify this chassis for me. If it's right, would it be a k7000 for a 25 inch monitor?

Your chassis is a 25K7191 (25" K7000 series).

I was just worried that the chassis in the frame could possibly be mixed matched because the serial number on the chassis and frame don't match up. So the chassis by itself still looks like a k7000 chassis? And is there a way to identify if it's a 19 inch or 25 inch chassis by just looking at it?

I just know on my other monitor, the frame sticker and the chassis sticker serial number match one another. Thanks so much for the help

Installed the chassis and got nothing and no neck glow. Check the fuse in that was intact. So I checked B+ at the ceramic resistor and it was high on both sides in the 200s. So after that I pulled one leg of the diode of d-10 and tried to Power It Up and still got nothing. What do you guys think? Also should I start a new thread for this? Thanks.
