Title: Can't edit jukebox.ini?
Post by: glen65 on December 29, 2007, 06:38:13 pm
Hi,
I just downloaded the newest version and I'm having a problem. I tried to edit jukebox.ini. When I was done, I got the dialog asking me if I wanted to save the changes. I clicked yes. Then I got an error saying it cannot create the file. Make sure the pathe and file name are correct. Then I get a message saying it's read only. I tried editing the controls.ini and I was able to edit and save it. Then I tried downloading the newest version to another pc and I'm still getting the same problem. Am I missing something?

Just figured out the problem. I looked at the file properties and read only was checked off. I unchecked it and that fixed the problem.  :banghead:

Uh oh... how did I manage to ship a read-only version of it?

Chris,
Who knows. It may be me!!!!
Anyway, this gives me the opportunity to thank you for such a cool program. Today, I picked up a usb keypad for $4.99 at a computer show. I remapped the keys and my juke looks and works so cool!
I'll post some picturs in the next few days.
Thanks.

glen,
It wasn't you,  I had that same issue.  Easy enough to figure out, but
I can see that hanging some people up.  At any rate, I love the software.

Great program Chris.
