That's pretty b@d@$$. I would love it if I ever saw a fireworks show with an Asteroids sequence in front of it like that.

pretty sweet! the only drawback is the world can see how much you suck at tempest. ;)
-
holy crap, that's awesome! I'd like to see some star wars screens.
-
yeah that's pretty old news - you can see they haven't updated in a while. But still pretty cool!
Along the same lines, I think THIS (http://www.zektor.com/zvg/index.htm) is really cool. It's got to find a niche market, but if you love vector games or have a dead PCBC it's the only way to go. I'm waiting until they emulate the sega games before I buy it, though(ironically the company selling it is called 'Zektor' :) )

BTW, an OSCAR Pro operates that massive Tempest "claw" shown in the 40' x 60' pics.
;D ;D

Got to play on one last year at the CA Extreme arcade & pinball event. I got to play badly in front of a lot of people. :-[
Some people were really good, though, and got to display their skills on the wall. Tempest looked great, but starwars looked, umm, like the vectors "interlaced" some of the time (like the lines were skipped). Especially the deathstar explosions. I talked to one of the developers, and he said that starwars was pushing the laser projector speed limits, and some games were too much for laserMame, the laser projectors that is. (Don't remember which ones, though.)
Pretty nice. LaserMame and LaserDisc games projected onto a 30 foot (?) wall next to each other, with lots of old school games and pinball machines looking on.
