Title: Looking for Mesh Speaker Grill Material
Post by: jeff dunn on May 05, 2002, 10:52:47 pm
I was interested in making my own speaker grills for my cab. I would like them to be the ones with really tiny holes. Is there a place that has the materials in rolls or something? I can only find pre-made ones. Thanks.

I know you can get cloth http://www.wendellfabrics.com/grille.html

Here's a plastic coated type http://www.grillcloth.com/fabric1.asp

Hope it helps  :)

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking more like a metal screen w/ little holes. Probably like the kind on computer speakers. Any ideas?

thanks

You could buy some covers on ebay or elsewhere and cut what you need from them. I just looked and all my speakers have fabric covers, even my outdoor ones.

Here's some plastic mesh material, that's about the only other thing I can find.  ;D
