Title: Set up MAME 184

Have just changed my cab over to play light gun games removed my old mame set up and tried setting up version 184 just with selected games MA does not show Mame or roms even though all paths are set up, can anyone help me out please.

I have the same issue with mame64 .194 on windows 10

I'm guessing it's out of date and no longer works :/

Hey guys.

You need to open your MAME XML then hit Ctrl+H on your keyboard to open the Replace box.

Replace all instances of Machine with game.

Rescan media and you should be good to go.

Problem I have with this is that MA keeps rebuilding the gameslist.xml files and in so doing overwrights what I just renamed.. I tried telling MA not to rescan but It still does..

make sure the rescan always isnt on. it shouldnt if that option isnt ticked
