Found a pretty ok fix for most steam pc games where the player 2 had to be played with a gamepad.
UCR (Universal Control Remapper]) (https://autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=12249) and a special version of vJoy which also can be enabled/disabled via comandline.
Pretty hand to turn it on and off just for titles that needs it.
