Every year I say this forum is lighter on projects than it was the year before and I'm always right.

Maybe, but there are some very nice projects coming through late this year.  UCA 2019 is probably a better idea.

The number of projects is most certainly down but there were a few more completed this year than I remembered.

2018 starts about here.

There are several nice looking cabinets in that thread from 2018.

If we had a category for best unfinished machine, we would have a hell of a time fighting over all of them. There was so many!!!

But I vote Chito! That Monolith thread was the most entertaining thing of 2017-2018... and I would have loved to see the final result!

I love how the EM inspired build's thread is jus a post asking for a few pointers... Silence... Then BAM! 100% complete and looking dead ass like the model.

markc74's The Invaders (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,154460.msg1619617.html#msg1619617) should be included in the UCA 2018 nominations, if the UCA is going to happen.

His cabinet is not only unique, but it was executed remarkably well from start to finish, and came out looking fantastic.

I took mine apart to paint in the spring.
Hasn't even been sealed yet.
Stacked in my basement like a flatpacked sauder TV stand.

I agree it is a nice build but unfortunately it was completed in November of 2017...so...

Yes, but we didn’t have a 2017 UCA, which is why I said “should be included in the UCA 2018 nominations, if the UCA is going to happen.”  ...so...

That looks really nice. I'm surprised no one has mentioned the likely hurt fingers if playing certain trackball games.
