I hate Happ Super ever since my X-arcade stick. I actually found some posts LIKING these monstrosities, how is that possible.
With a 4-way restrictor they are ok for those. but I'd take a J-stick $8 clone any day of the week.

I like the Supers for playing SHMUPs like 1942. Of you want precise corners, get Comps

OK- We've got one Weird-o :lol
SHMUPS I mean they are waaay better than say Xbox controllers but they alway felt "cheap"
Anyone else?

In your opinion, what would be a good replacement for the Happs in an X arcade? What would be next, after your $8 J stick clone?
I still have my old X arcade, and wonder about upgrades, though I’ve got nothing to compare to..
I don’t want to steer your thread, but this seems in-keeping with your opinion.

Maybe it's because X-arcade sticks didn't use real Happ Supers. ;)

The X-arcade actuator doesn't have the narrow-waisted hourglass shape, so it's definitely a knockoff -- like a Zippyy compared to a real LS-32.

Even the original ones.? I remember it as a selling point. I'll dig mine outta my junk box and see.....someday :)
But no, I HAD quite a few coin-ops with them-they suck!
