I have ran this for close to a decade now and Chad ran it the first few years. I was going to post it later in August, but I'm bored at work today and may not have time next week to do it.
Rules are simple. Choose one game each week. Pick the winner. If you are wrong you are eliminated from the game. Last man standing wins. I will keep track of everyone's picks each week and display them by editing this post.
When making a pick, highlight it in the post, so that they're easier to pick out. I don't want to miss anyone's pick. If you don't know how to highlight it, copy somebody else's pick and change the color name if you want.
A pick must be made every week. Failure to make a pick results in elimination. Picks should be posted in this thread so that people have the ability to double check my work.
You cannot pick a game with the same team two weeks in a row. If you pick the Rams over the Titans in week 2, you cannot use either the Rams game or the Titans game in week 3. Having everyone help with this will eliminate the possibility of a mistake on my end on this item. You can pick a team multiple times over the season.
Entrant pool closes an hour preceding the game you want to pick. That means that if you want to pick Thursday's game this week you must do so at least an hour before the game starts. Forum timestamps will be binding.
Good luck to all. As always my goal is to make it out of Week 1 this year. And the winner does receive forum rep points.

So there's my fall planned out.
Week 1:
Houston Texans over Chicago Bears
-
Week 1: Packers over Jaguars
-
I thought I'd be the first one gone, but looks like Chad has lost already. ;D
Week 1:
Baltimore Ravens over Buffalo Bills

It has been decades since anyone went broke betting against the Cleveland Browns.
EDIT: damn, I was looking at week 2. Thanks for pointing that out. :laugh2:

Too soon for the down goes Romo comment?

I thought I'd be the first one gone, but looks like Chad has lost already. ;D

That will never cease to be funny.

Nope. Broken bone in his back...

I dislike him because he's a choker. But if you want to laugh at another man's injuries I suppose none of the cavemen around here will stop you.

Romo just needs to retire, for the sake of his own health. Can you imagine what it's going to be like for him in 10 years?

I 100% agree. I had hoped the collarbone injuries would push him out last year. Brain still functioning, hot wife, get out while your dick and brain still work.
-
Aikman retired at 34 because of his back injuries. Romo's 36. I doubt he can come back from this and be effective.
And they'd have beat GB a couple of years ago except the NFL doesn't know what a catch is (hint: Dez caught that ball).

We all know that was Karma paying them back for the week before, when they should have lost to the Lions.
-
I'll disagree. Karma is the Lions always being losers for what they did to Barry Sanders. Only team in the history of the NFL that's been around since the Super Bowl that has never played in it. Screw them and their ---smurfy--- organization.
-
Aikman retired at 34 because of his back injuries.
That's the first I ever heard that one. Googled and all I can find is that some dude on Twitter started that idea up.
-

People say that. Then they look at a table full of Lombardi trophies. Every player in the NFL is cheating in any way they can. That is football culture at pretty much all levels. Football is a dirty cheat filled game. If people really hate cheaters so much then they should stick with that moral choice and avoid football entirely.
BTW, Aikman retired because of concussions, not his back. Apparently the need for integrity doesn't apply to the medical staffs or the league itself.

Week 1 Seahawks over the Dolphins
Let's hope Atlanta can finish better than .500 this year.

Thanks again, Hoopz!!
Week 1: Vikes beat the Titans Hoping that its too early in the season for them to choke.

Best thing about dating a Patriots fan is they dont care if you cheat. The NFL has been on a steady decline of talent and likable players. The NHL is gaining momentum in talent while the NFL seems to be losing it.

Actually, I'm a Buccaneers fan, which means I'm happy if you show up at all and don't embarrass us.
The NFL has always been mostly unlikable people. The difference now is ever increasing direct access to those unlikable people.
The NHL works in cycles. Every 10 years or so they start to gain and then they shoot themselves in the face by taking teams from good strong hockey communities and putting them in bigger US TV markets where nobody cares and nobody will ever care. Then they expand and put a new team in a market where nobody cares. They just won't accept that hockey is Canadian and needs to remain primarily Canadian in order to have a sustainable core business.
-
I may actually agree with Chad on hockey. Seems like I've lived through two cycles of "hockey players are bigger, faster, and stronger than NFL players and the NHL is about to explode!"
Football is probably going to decline long term from all the concussion concerns. I've talked to neurologists, neuropsychologists, neuroscientists, etc etc, been to presentations, negotiated clinical trials for sideline diagnostic tools, and basically all anyone can tell me is "not sure" and "soccer is more dangerous." Problem is those guys retire in their late 20s and have 30 years of alcohol and drug abuse ahead of them. Football or no football some of us are going to have early onset neurodegeneration.
-

The main problem is that with each cycle they permanently alienate more of their core Canadian fans. I grew up playing hockey, was a die hard Nordiques fan, and should now be a serious NHL follower. Instead I have watched maybe 3 NHL games in the last 5 years and those were at someone else's house. Guys like me should be their main fanbase but we are scorned and either moved on to hockey in another form or just moved on entirely.

And all of us know someone who has that. Their whole denial bit flies in the face of common sense and generations of direct observation. Anyone our age has seen it first hand. Anyone older than us grew up watching boxing. Soon enough we're going to see a whole generation of 40 year old former MMA fighters that can't make themselves sandwiches. These are all adults, they are making their own choices, but damn don't lie about it. Just put it out there and let everyone make their choices.
-
Well, yes, there's clearly a small percentage that are permanently impaired from concussions. We can't predict who it's going to be, though there's tons of interesting research with a lot of interest from the military and the NFL. I don't think it's completely out of the realm of possibility that officer candidates have to submit to a functional MRI within the next 20 years.

The functional MRI is only so useful without the baseline MRI having already been taken before the trauma. That's the problem. They have to invest in the data harvesting in order to have something with which to compare. They offer these at our high school in the fall for athletes but it's not cheap. I haven't heard of many parents spending the money. It is encouraging that the possibility even exists though I'm sure it isn't available to lower income areas.
-
They're working to eliminate the need for a baseline MRI. The company I was working with basically had a headband and an android device and could do an assessment in about 10 minutes. From what I saw, a trained monkey could run the app. The trial was proving that device was as good as conventional methods, so "at risk populations" were going to be base lined, given the usual batteries, and then brought in again after blows to the head. Would also be checked at the end of the season.
So cheaper and quicker diagnostics are coming... the money to be made off of it is awe inspiring.
-
NHL was doing fine until the 94 lockout that shortened the season and spurred a lot of fans. They finally recovered from that and things were looking good then BAM the 04-05 lockout that cancelled the season instead of shortening it like they did in 94. Finally get momentum going after that and BAM! Another lockout in 2012 that shortened the season.
Im kinda glad you arent a hockey fan, its one less thing we could have in common. Guess the good thing is you aren't a Bruins fan either. No one is a Buccaneers fan.

Try asking a Nordiques, Flames, North Stars, (original) Jets, or Whalers fan and see if they tell you the real problem was work stoppages.
BTW, try to be a civil person, it's not that hard. Nobody has been insulting you in this thread.
-
Someone gets butthurt easily. ::)
-
Don't see where I insulted you chaddles, don't be a Nancy pants.
I was a nordiques fan, stayed with them when they went to colorado. I liked the Flyers too cause they are my local team. So when the Flyers sent all my favorite players to the Aves for Lindross I became a super Aves fan. Roy was just icing on the cake.
Teams moved because ticket sales slumped or the teams just couldn't stay profitable in the markets. I dont think a team was making money hand over fist with a great fanbase, with every game sold out every night just up and switched cities. So yeah, as a Nordiques fan , stoppages had the bigger negative impact on the NHL over team relocations/expansions

Talked to a back surgeon that's a Patriots fan. He says Tony Romo is going to make a full recovery from his minor injury.

He's 36 and experienced significant injuries the last couple of years. He's about done anyway.

From your fingers to God's ears. Amen.

Now that Peyton Manning has retired. I was surprised to see that Tony is not on the list of top 6 oldest current NFL players list. (http://ftw.usatoday.com/2016/03/the-nfls-oldest-active-players-now-that-peyton-manning-is-retiring)

It's probably better if you typed it out or copy/pasted instead of quoting his going forward. It's easier for me when I scan the thread to see a highlighted post v. a quote. You're set this week so if you make it to Week 2, I'd appreciate your help.

How'd the Cowboys rookie QB look? I had to watch the Dolts game instead so I haven't seen any highlights.

Dak looks good. A couple of overthrows but I think he's going to work. Was a very tight game throughout.

Of course he does. Starters don't lose their job to injury. If he comes back and sucks though, they'll probably pull him right away.
-
Bledsoe lost his to injury. And ended up playing for the Cowboys after that. :P
Good job to Cleveland for trading out of the #2 spot and passing on Carson Wentz. Josh McCown will be the answer to your prayers.

Heh heh I bet you were all a little nervous riding the ol birdman's coat tails on Baltimore.....
Of course Cleveland was going to blow it...
And my Falcons won despite there moribund defense.

Wow, Arizona game wasn't even close. LOL
It's all good tho, my Donkeys whooped Luck and the Colts right out of town.
Good luck to the remaining guys!
-
Way to leave myself with a tough game to pick. Week 2: Bears over Eagles
-
My apologies, but I have to pick early as I am super busy for the next few days.
Week 3: Texans over Patriots!
-
It must suck to be a Bears fan, especially if you're under 50....

Week 3 - Arizona Cardinals defeat Buffalo Bills
Texans defeating New England? Not so sure. The locals have drunk the kool-aid on the Texans this year but I'm still waiting to be convinced.

Andrew Luck ran the Colts out of town. Poor throwing decisions and no ball security.
In honor of PBJ and the fact I almost never pick them.......
Week 3 - Dallas Cowgirls over DAAAAaaaaaaaaa........... BEARS
The Bears lost like 7 players last night, 2 concussions (both unlikely to play against the cowboys) , 3 leg injuries and Cutler sprained his vagina.

Week 3 - Arizona Cardinals defeat Buffalo Bills
Texans defeating New England? Not so sure. The locals have drunk the kool-aid on the Texans this year but I'm still waiting to be convinced.
Given that the choices for New England at QB are either a rookie who has never started in the NFL or a WR who was a QB in college it's hard even for people here to pick the Patriots. If the Patriots manage to win this one the Texans are going to have to seriously blow it AND Belichick is going to have to pull some all time Houdini moves.
Week 3: Ravens over Jaguars

Ouch. That game was physically painful to watch. The old drunk at my beach bar that announced last Saturday, "Bill Belichick could walk into this bar, draft any 5 of us, and have us ready to beat the Texans on Thursday" was vindicated.
-
That game was physically painful to watch.
+1
I'm not a fan of Osweiler in general, but Houston looked as bad as any team I can recall seeing. Even the worst Browns teams of all time would have beaten them last night.
-
It's not fair that Bill Belichick can have teams competing for the Super Bowl EVERY year for almost two DECADES and the Falcon's can't even get a pass rush worth a DAMN since the Predator retired.
-
I was in... 7th? grade when a friend of mine submitted a drawing entitled, "Patriots Win The Super Bowl!" for the "Imagine THAT!" school art competition in the early 90s.
Man, how times change....
-
Patriots were the laughing stock of pro sports for 20+ years. They were 48 hours away from loading trucks and moving to St Louis as late as the mid 90s. For the majority of their history they were consistently terrible. The sad part is that there is a generation of fans here that were born after 2001. These fans don't even remember Drew Bledsoe nevermind Steve Grogan.

Fixt. No idea what the hell I'm doing this year in this thread. :banghead:

Life without Romo looks pretty good. I hope he never plays for the Cowboys again.
-
Nooooooo! I love Tony Romo! He is the reason the Cowboys have been so mediocre for so long! Good enough to stay in the lower first round of the draft but crappy enough to never win anything important.
Ooh! When the Cowboys eventually cut him it would be amazing to see if the Patriots could win with Tony Romo at QB. Talk about the ultimate coaching test!
-
Shut up, Chad, you're playing with my emotions.
-
Thr "controversy" in Dallas will sort itself out when Dallas actually plays someone. They schedule about to get brutal.
-
I bet the Patriots totally could win with Romo at QB. They'd be intelligent enough to take him out of the game in the fourth quarter. Replace him with a tackling dummy and go 10 on 11.
He'd probably still call a fourth time out or something from the sideline.
-
This is a goofy season. Will be very interesting to see who's the best at the end.
-
Another early exit. :banghead: Thanks Hoopz for doing this again. Good luck to everyone still alive.

Week 4:
New England Patriots over Buffalo Bills
(https://mrbricksworld.files.wordpress.com/2011/12/out-on-a-limb.gif)
-
Now that's a dangerous pick. Pats don't know if Brissett or Garoppolo can play this week. It could end up being Edelman.
-
Oops, I thought Brady was back for the next one. I meant the picture to be ironic, but turns out to not be ironic at all. :lol
I guess It's early enough to change it, but I'll stick with it and hope the incompetence of Rex Ryan keeps me in the game.

Oops, I thought Brady was back for the next one. I meant the picture to be ironic, but turns out to not be ironic at all. :lol
I guess It's early enough to change it, but I'll stick with it and hope the incompetence of Rex Ryan keeps me in the game.
Hes back week 5 vs the Browns, and that'll be my pick if I survive this week.
-
That game vs the Browns could end up 150-0. The Browns are so bad.
-
Week 4
Arizona over Los Angeles
-
Seattle Seachickens over New Jersey Jets
-
Week 4: Arizona over LA
-
Week 4 Washington over Cleveland
I'll update the OP later.

Markrvp Week 4:
Denver Broncos over Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Markrvp Week 4:
Denver Broncos over Tampa Bay Buccaneers
So brave...

OP updated.
If you need to make a pick for this week still (Chad...), do so for the MNF game...
-
Anyone else think that Romo looks great out of uniform and on the sideline? I hope that look is permanent.
-
Week 5
New England Cheatriots over Cleveland Clowns
This is a win/win pick for me. If the Pats win , I move on. If the Browns win that means Tom Brady lost to the Browns.
-
Coming in a bit late here...
Week 4: Vikings over Giants
-
(https://i.sli.mg/6YH119.jpg)

I wouldn't take Denver next week if I was any of you my Birdz are hot on offense.

Week 5: Patriots over Browns

Week 5: Patriots over Browns
fuggin copy cats
-
Week 5: Patriots over Browns
fuggin copy cats
Since I picked against Cleveland last week, I can't this week unfortunately.
Steelers over Jets
Jets DBs can't stop anyone so the Steelers offense should have a field day.

Week 5
markrvp: Minnesota Vikings over Houston Texans
-
Week 5
markrvp: Minnesota Vikings over Houston Texans[/glow]
Everyone at work is pissed this morning... so I think you chose correctly.
How bout them Cowboys?
-
Dallas is pretty impressive, but Atlanta is going to put everyone on notice when they thrash Seattle this weekend.
-
Everybody advances I think. I'll update the OP by Friday.
-
Buffalo Jills over the San Fransissyco Fourty-Winers
-
NFL Week 6
markrvp: New England Patriots over Cincinatti Bengals
-
Bears over Jags
-
I'm happy that the Cowboys are 5-1 but I can't help but feel slightly sorry for Romo. Bradshaw, Staubach, Aikman, Favre, and Bledsoe telling him to hang it up? Ouch.
-

Yeah, I also feel bad for Romo, but the poor guy gets hurt every time someone touches him. For his own quality of life, he probably should retire.
-
Heh, late again so I'm picking the monday game.
Week 5: Buccaneers over Panthers
-
Heh, late again so I'm picking the monday game.
Week 5: Buccaneers over Panthers
Pick between Jets & Cardinals tonight. We're on Week 6.
-
Thanks. You can see how much attention I'm paying to the NFL this year.
Week 6: Cardinals over Jets
Hey, I looked it up, and at least I was right with that pick. Heh. I guess I missed a rare Bucs appearance on MNF and didn't know it.
-
Down to three. I'm not updating the OP now because of the general malaise that I'm under probably because of the Bears' season/decade of ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---.
-
I tried to watch part of that game. My god, was that ridiculously awful, just boring and slow. Even with Sean McDonough, who for people in Boston carries a lot of nostalgia, it was just terrible television.
-
I'd rather listen to McDonough than Nantz, Simms, Gruden, etc.
-
McDonough did the Red Sox games for 16 years so it's very very familiar here. He's not well suited to football, though. The guy has no excitement to him.
-
Week 7:
Markrvp: Denver Broncos over Houston Texans
-
Pats over the Pitts
aka the cheaters over the steelers
aka the deflaters over the later hitters

Oh ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---, I thought I lost the week 6 pick. That's why I never came back for a week 7. :laugh2:

Dang Malenko hate to see you go out like this...
HAHA, well I havent exactly been keeping up with football. I knew the Bears only had 1 win, and the Vikes only had 1 loss but I didnt know Adrien Peterson was injured.
Every year I think "Im just going to pick the patriots all the time like everyone else" but thats no fun so I limit them to 1 pick.
I was destined not to win because I was going to pick the Seahawks over the Saints, Packers over the Falcons , or the Eagles over the Cowboys.......so I was ---fouled up beyond all recognition--- no matter which game I went for lol.
Grats Mark!
-
Can we talk about the Cowboys, because the Cowboys haven't been this good since the 90s.
-
Can we talk about the Cowboys, because the Cowboys haven't been this good since the 90s.
They are great this year. I live near Philly the hatred for the Cowboys this year is.......hilarious. I'll always be more of a hockey fan than football, so I don't really give a ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- about the whole "Eagles/Cowboys rivaly" but its funny to me to see "grown ups" lose their ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- over a football game. For the most part it was actually a good game. But, if you can make Elliot stop his stupid "eating with a spoon" move after every single rush over 4 yards, that'd be great. Its almost as annoying as every single player signaling a first down every time they get a first down.
-
Thanks Malenko! For the record, I thought the Minnesota pick was a good pick, but intradivisional games are always a risk.
This was fun! In 8 weeks I picked games involving 13 different teams. Definitely an unusual season for sure.
-
I miss Tony Romo.
-
PBJ:
I'm sorry bruh, Dallas isn't nearly as good as everyone thinks. Philly would have beat them had they not shot themselves in the foot. I think what Dak has done is admirable but he's no probowler. He has benefited from the best OL in football and a dynamic rusher in Elliott. We will see but I think they are destined for playoff failure.
Speaking of destined for playoff failure, it sure would be nice if my Falcons would make up their mind and either be good or really ---smurfy---, my heart can't take these games...
-

So, are you new to the Falcons, then? They have been like this at least as far back as Chris Chandler. Maybe Jeff George.
-
Bruh Chris Miller was my first rodeo....
-
Then shouldn't you be used to this by now? Nobody sees me whining when the Buccaneers are 6-10. I expect it.
-
Congrats to Markrvp for winning again! 5th time. :applaud:
Anyone want to do round 2?

I'm in.

But the Browns are as bad as everyone thinks.

ATL OVER CHADDLES' TAMPON BAY SUCCENQUEERS

Week 9: Texans over... oh wait...
Cowboys over Browns
-
Well unless everyone else picks Seattle over Buffalo (or the Bills if they're expecting an upset), it's going to be a small number of entries for Round 2.
Seattle over the Ryan Bros.
-
I almost feel bad about that Cowboys/Browns pick. Almost.
-
yeah, Im done gonna play this time. sry
-
I'll throw a small bit of risk in here: Week 10 Giants over Bengals
-
Round 2 -
PBJ - Boys over Browns
HB - Falcons over Bucs
Cake - Boys over Browns
CT - Chefs over Jax
Me - Seattle over Bills
All move on.
-
Week 10: Texans over Jaguars

Eh, let's keep it somewhat regional this week...
New Orleans Saints defeat Denver Broncos
This morning I made what is possibly one of the dumbest football related purchases ever. I'm going to be borderline shocked if they actually go through with it. Stay tuned... :D

A "Dez caught it" tramp stamp?
-
Well either me or PBJ is going down in round 2
I like Denver over Nawlins.
-
Yeah, who knows on that one.... the bookies were favoring New Orleans, but 538 favors the Broncos.
I'm not sure any of us should ever listen to 538 ever again, though....
-
So what'd you buy?
-
In honor of the man responsible for the two worst plays in Cowboys history, I present a mock up of the Leon Lett jersey I ordered.
-
A ballsy purchase!
(See what I did there???) ;D

The Big Cat.

Chargers over Fins.

Week 11: Patriots over 49ers
So brave...
:lol
Oh well, Cowboys have the best record in the NFL right now. Romo has been demoted. Life is good.
-
If whoever is left agrees to not pick the Patriots, I will change my pick to something more brave.
I think Elliott is making Prescott look good. Elliott was a perfect fit for the Cowboys considering their offensive line. Hopefully the Cowboys get exposed in the playoffs. (I say this as a Cowboy-hater)
-
My Falcons are falling apart, but I'd LOVE to give Dallas some 1980 36 year revenge.
-
No doubt that running back would make anyone look pretty good right now... but those situations where Romo would screw the pooch are the ones where Prescott manages to pull it out of his ass.

Miami over La

9-1.

God bless the Chinese, and it arrived in time to troll everyone for Thanksgiving.

10-1!

F-ing Dallas is going to force me to root for Seattle in the NFC.

Cowboys Patriots Super Bowl. Dak dethrones Brady, goes down as best rookie quarterback ever.

As an "Eagles fan" I'm ok with this. I'd take the Cowboys winning 6 in a row over the Patriots ever even making the playoffs again.
-
I'd say Cakemeister won Round 2 since Harvey didn't put in a pick for week 12. I'm probably done running this so someone else can take it for next year. I certainly didn't update the OP as much as I have in the past. Congrats to all the winners (not me since I suck at picking games).

Thanks for doing this the past few years Hoopz. I appreciate it.
-
Yeah, I always enjoy it, and it gets me watching a few extra games each season.
I think we can pivot the thread to general discussion of the NFL and them Cowboys.

Cowboys pull another one out of their ass. 11-1.

Cowboys pull another one out of their ass. 12-2!

Even though we had a subpar year, I want to thank the Arizona Cardinals for ruining Pete Carroll's Christmas.
-
Dak Prescott jersey locked and loaded. He wins one playoff game and he's gone further than Romo.
-
Except more than likely Dallas is going to end up with GB or NYG, while Atl will be getting Sea or Det.. 2 is the real 1 seed this year.
-
GB is gonna represent the NFC, watch, though I'm pulling for ATL.
-
Quarterbacks keep snapping their legs and we continue to pave a path to a Cowboys Super Bowl.

Here's to hoping someone breaks Tom Brady's leg

Payout is 10 to 1 on the Texans this weekend. Tempting to throw $10 at it for the entertainment value.

I am a Greenbay homer. So yeah... Go Pack Go!

Awe... is that all you're giving me??? You have a wise ass thing to say about everything. Oh well. It was a crazy game. Just glad that the Pack ended up on top.

I honestly did not expect them to win that game and have been pissing off the Cowboys fans in my life all week with that opinion.
:blah: :blah: :blah:
Maybe next year.

Yeah. Have you seen all the articles today? The Steeler's coach Tomlin uses swear words!
OMG what a scandal. :-[
-
God how can anyone stomach anybody besides Atlanta as Superbowl champions.... these other three have too many as it is.
Did you see the graphic on espn regarding all the QBs that represented the AFC in the superbowl. It was 4 guys... Brady, Big Ben, Manning, and Flaco (that one time).
-
God how can anyone stomach anybody besides Atlanta as Superbowl champions.... these other three have too many as it is.
I couldn't stomach anyone else but the Packers! Atlanta Fans are so damn sensitive, the second Aaron Rodgers starts slinging touchdowns that stadium gets quiet quickly. The reason the fans can be taken out of the game so easily is because they are mostly band wagon fans at best. And no I don't care if the Packers win every superbowl from now till eternity. Why? Because I also root for the Milwaukee Brewers and the Milwaukee Bucks so I know terrible franchises and heart break and if the Packers are my one chance to have a legitimate sports power during my life time, then so be it.

The real MVP will be taking on the Evil Empire in Houston...
Thank you Arizona for the second seed!
-
Looks to be a Zzzzz Super Bowl unless you like watching Atlanta get raped.
-
yawn fest of a season ending with a yawn fest of a super bowl. last SB I watched was the ravens and the 49ers (oh how the mighty have fallen!)
-
Cowboys basically saved the NFL this season. Viewership was way down until the Cowboys started winning.

I think Atlanta's going to win, bro.

3 point spread, over under at 59. Apparently neither defense is showing up.

Thank you Arizona for the second seed!
Sorry I was late to the party... I was out of town on business... but yeah A-rod and the Pack never showed up. Great game by the Falcons for sure. And now I am rooting for them to take down Brady. Go Falcons!
-
I'd be dumb to think that the Packers injuries didn't have a bit to do with our success, I got no ill will toward them.
Welcome to the Anti Tom/Hoody Bandwagon!
-
I'm indifferent about the Falcons (no offense) as they've been so mediocre for so long that no one really cares, but I'm tired of the Pats' bs so I'll room for Atlanta. Just keep your DBs away from hookers on the night before the game this time. Not having Dan Reeves on the sidelines helps too.
Go ---fudgesicle--- yourself AARon and call your mom, you piece of ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---. ::)
-
Meh, gotta root NFC so I guess it's Falcons for me. Super Bowl ticket prices have taken a ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- on Stub Hub. Only $3,000! If one of you wants to crash at my place, you can stay in my guest room for $1,000 a night.

How hard would it have been to run the ball three times and kick the field goal instead of losing 20+ yards on sacks/penalties and throwing an incomplete pass? They had it and choked it away. :dizzy:
-
31 unanswered points? Biggest choke in Super Bowl history.
-
Ugh... that was an ugly loss. Feel for all those Falcon fans. Looks like the Patriots are going to re-up Bradys contract so he can play another 5 years. I was hoping the bastard would retire. :afro:

I give you my permission to run it. I wont be playing, the NFL is pretty crummy so I'll be passively watching some college football till the NHL starts up.
