Title: Road Trip
Post by: Mike A on March 13, 2018, 09:12:47 am
I am visiting a friend I don't get to see very often. He lives in St Cloud, MN. I have been looking for a Pengo cabinet, and it just so happens that there is one for sale by a KLOVer 20 minutes from St. Cloud. I am picking up the working Pengo cab and a working Candy cab from the same guy.

My April is looking pretty arcadey. Or would it be arcadeish?

First week in April      - Pick up 2 working cabs
Second week in April  - Midwest Gaming Classic
Third week in April     - Zapcon  :woot
Last week in April      - full kitchen and living room remodel (to facilitate more game space)

If Phet invites you to take a peek into the “special room", just cross your legs and politely decline.

Oh cool, I've bought a couple monitors from him, nice guy. I remember seeing the Pengo and Candy Cab in his garage. Never heard of an OK Baby, nice score, love candy cabs.

Those things are virtually unobtainium, I finally gave up and made a pedestal.

I wonder how many spools it'd take to 3d print one of those..... it'd probably be done in a year or two.

Those Super System cabinets are turds that flake apart.  Notice it doesn't have any t-molding?  And they're very uncomfortable to play.  Dust collectors on location.   :lol

Good to know, never saw one in the wild. I like the shape of it but that would be it. Did you notice the first pic did have some t-molding and the rest of the pics did not?

Next time, Mike. I'll see ya at Zapcon, though.

If anyone visits the cities, maybe we can do a meet-up at Up-Down. http://www.updowndsm.com/ (http://www.updowndsm.com/)
