I'm currently working on converting my Wurlitzer New Orleans juke over to a MP3 unit, and I'm looking at using DW Jukebox, but I need some way to output the currently entered cd/track #'s, and the current playing track numbers to a LED 4 digit display. Could output to something like LCD Smartie be added to DWJ?

This is planned for version 4.0... in fact I have already purchased a pair of LCD displays for testing.

LCD Smartie is smart type of software. You dosen't really need such of device to get it work, since LCD Smartie have a virtual one as well which I used as test.

I have not actually seen LCS Smartie before so I don't know how to talk to it yet.. I'll check it out when I get home from work.

Sweet ..... what about LED type displays?
Like three or four digit seven segment LED displays.
Or something like this:

Ya know I've been wanting to implement that on mine for awhile now. ;)

I'm putting in some extremely basic support for this right now, essentially just dumping the contents of the displays to a text file where LCD Smartie can pick it up. I have the Now Playing display working now; it's displaying on the LCD Smartie emulator window. I may just do that one display for now; I'm about to redo all the displays and I can put something better in once I do.

Smarti have dll plugin support, howover i did never check how that work and I do the extract same trick in the Jukebox GUI section in MultiFE. So I think that basic support you made would been fine. Maybe not the smartest, but if it works, it would been fine with that.

Is it done yet? Is it done yet? Is it done yet?
