Title: best attract mode?

which games have the best attract modes?

i like to leave the mame cab runnin when people come in so it grabs em right away, and right now i have a screen saver with screenshots of all the different games 'insert coin' screens, which is cool.....

but it would rock to have a screensaver that played all the different attactmodes randomly. anyways i digress...

which games have the best attractmodes, i wanna grab peoples attnetion, talking ones are fun, gorf is cool, wizard of war is fun.

but what else?

Good idea!  You could capture them to mpeg or quicktime etc. with sound.  I hear there are several video screensavers out there...

For a long time I had setup emulaxian like that in combination with advance mame...you can setup advance mame to exit after x idletime...the fe would randomly launch a game...and after x idle time it comes back to the fe and after x idle time the fe launches another game...no mpegs needed...real emulated attractscreens! (I believe you can setup advance menu alos like that...)

Hey >p<  I think me or you could write something like that fairly easily.  My new fe already has the ability to launch a game at random and you know all of my keypress and api tricks.  Sounds like a decent feature to me. :)

Oh and btw there's two game series that have the best attract modes in the modern category.  The Street Fighter Series and if your machine can handle it, the Mortal Kombat Series.    Lots of flash, lots of people hitting stuff, what more could you ask for??
