I’m thinking to upgrade my old arcade I’d like it to still run through a Hanna plugs I was going to get a adapter to solder to so i can plug right in between a computer and a original board but I’m stuck atm I have the raspberry pi and I know I need joystick encoders but now I’m unsure how to connect the crt up to the raspberry pi

I have used a HDMI to VGA converter. (Cheap, search ebay or amazon.com), but that is for VGA monitors.
If you plan on using the sound from the HDMI too, make sure the converter has an audio out jack on it.

Now if you have the original RGB monitor Im not sure about that.
