Let me start off letting you guys know early that I did take build pictures. The bad news is they were developed by a noob photo developer and they were all ruined. So no build pictures just the finished product. :hissy:
This is a design like someones MVS I found on the internet. I made this out of Oak plywood, banded edges, and oak trim to give it a false raised panel look. FINALLY, yes that is a CORIAN CP. much talk about people wanting to make a CP out of this so I decided to do it. Looks great and if it scratches all one has to do is sand it in stages and it is brand new. I tried granite but it is thicker than 3/4 inch and had to dado out spots to put controlls in this along with the vast number of holes made the granite very brittle and it broke. The trackball is purple, will be changed to black later. (the ball is a juggling ball from a magic shop and it fits perfectly if anyone wanted to know or change their ball and back light it. it does look alright with a backlight) This has a computer pent 4, XP, happ controlls, 27" WG Monitor, custom grille covers, computer speakers, handles on the rear in the top and on the bottom in the front to help carry it downstairs, 2- 3" fans to cool, removeable CP and keyboard drawer.
Here is the link to the guys arcade that I designed mine after http://benheck.com/09-19-2005/custom-neo-geo-arcade-cabinet
I hope you all like this. I appreciate all the ideas and help I have gotten off this forum. Sorry for the lack of build pics.

Nice design, what is that in the middle by the four way joy?

That is the spinner without the knob. I am waiting for the knob to come in the mail.

That's what I assumed, just wasn't 100 percent sure.

My woody is not as long as yours, but I think that it's thicker at the base:

Wasn't it possible to route out some more corian to lift the trackball? It's so deep down now.

@ Xevious
Its not really how big you are, but the size of the room you get to play in
@ Blanka
I thought about routing it but then I would have to shim the mounting plate above the plywood backer. I have a Highmount trackball on order and I will post a pic of how it looks when it comes in.
Thanks YoGaBaR
